yeah that seems more like it, where abouts are you mate, I'm in the southeast. Wondering if anyone knows of a place that I can take it too? will order the plastidip anyway

Cheers

There's a place called Race by Design in Horley (near Gatwick airport) that do wrapping.
I'm sure they could black gloss wrap the lower lip.

Question for anyone who has already taken delivery. How annoying is the sound actuator thing in a Cupra or sport mode? I was debating whether to ask the dealer to lower the volume with vagcom during its PDI

My 184 has a similar system which is bareable until you get onto motorways. I imagine the Cupra one is louder

it's bearable and I actually welcome the sound. Just sounds like an uprated intake with the ability to turn it off and on.

Haha I just think it's too much at the wrong time, it's makes loads of induction noise too low in the rev range, so in my opinion does sound very fake.

My old LCR with an induction kit and 007 was a much nicer natural noise compared to this.

I quite like the sound even though its fake, makes the car feel like its going a bit faster than it is. The fake sound in my focus ST was worse.

I thought it was annually or mileage based which ever comes first reading through my service book and lease docs. So if you're on longlife but have done less that 20k in first year then you still need to get it serviced at 1 yr.

Looking at my service book as also on long life it's 20k or 2 years latest so I would service
After the 1st year then it wouldn't need doing again on giving car back .

Got my can of black plastidip today for the lip and badges, has anyone used it in this cold weather? Probably not a good idea really is it? I hate waiting to get things done!
