Hi all, i have just reached my 15 posts so can start getting some pictures up and get my readers ride going.
So this is my second car, my first one being a Ford KA that i absolutely hated, but it gave me the experience of driving and got me through my test so i can't complain! I got my Ibiza back in February 2016, and it has stayed pretty much standard until about a month ago.

This is the car the day I bought it and it looked like that up until a month ago when I decided to start making it my own!

First thing to be done was replace the faded, single reflector headlights with a much nicer set of double reflector ones.

Installing the headlights was very simple, pretty much all plug and play. But I had the problem of the dipped beam turning off when I switched to full beam so a little bit of custom wiring had to be done to sort that out! I will get some pics of how I did it at the weekend if anyone else is having the same issues.

Next the disgusting looking wheels, I had removed the hubcaps leaving the steel wheels which definitely looked better, but a set of alloys has improved the look massively!

I will hopefully be getting the wheels refurbished at some point as they have got a bit of corrosion and curb marks on them.

Thanks Liam! I've got some HID's to go in at the weekend and I'm currently on the hunt for an FR/Cupra front and rear bumper!

That's what I thought too, I was starting to fall out of love with driving my Ibiza as it definitely wasn't looking at its best! But now I've got the bug and I can't wait to be home at weekends to work on it and drive it haha

Yeah I live not too far from the Scottish border and we got rather a lot of snow at the weekend! Now my car is looking disgusting from all the sludge and salt off the road

Just a quick update with a few small mods done today and my HID's.

I replaced the long bendy aerial with a short stubby one, really cleans up the look of the car imo and haven't seen any loss in signal quality. I've also de-wipered the back of the car as my original wiper arm was all rusty and horrible, again this has cleaned up the look of the rear of the car no end.

Finally I got my HID's installed, these are 5000k H7R anti glare HID's which look great, only one problem is that the right hand headlight is missing the little diffuser thing that goes in front of the bulb so it looks a bit glary. I hope to pick one of these up tomorrow from a scrap ibiza near me!

Just looking at them pictures I really need to get some white sidelight bulbs! Didn't realise how yellow they are until I got these white HID's!

Thank you! Things have slowed down a bit now, I'm just on the hunt for some Cupra bumpers which is talking it's time at the minute. Hope to get some colour coded wing mirror covers on soon too

Some pictures in the snow the other night. Need to get a new number plate bulb as the cheap ones I have in keep blowing. Also got some bumpers coming from an Ibiza sport that will be hopefully going on next weekend!
