Delivery date the 30th of this month.

Just called in and they have some cupras that they look to be discounting. Tempted to ask how much to purchase it rather than lease it.

It will probably be cheaper to buy the one you're leasing at the end of the 2 years. I believe it would have to be bought in someone else's name though (VWFS rule)

Is anyone going with a paint sealant/protection through a dealer or maybe a detailing company? I'd like to have something on there just to make cleaning less of a hassle. Especially the wheels!

Yes, I had a 7-day complimentary insurance sent to me by email. Came through automatically from dealer when they registered the car 2 days before I was due to collect.

Cool! Thats handy as i need to transport my old car and have both insurances up and running.

Is this the same for leasing aswell?

Had the car since Friday and really enjoying it, still not too sure on the look of the 5 door but I'm sure i'll stop caring in a few weeks, the power is far too addictive!

Got my finance docs emailed to me today. Build week 45. Warrington Volkswagen

Accoridng to the email this is 'shortly' before the car is delivered to the dealer so fingers crossed I get the car next week :funk:

I'm just back from America where i was driving an automatic 5L V8 Mustang so going back to my manual diesel focus has been terrible!

I was week 44 and sent mine to Warrington VW last week, just waiting on an updated delivery date now. Hopefully not too long now :)

Who did you order through out of interest?

Same here :) I'm not sure its gonna be this week though :/ When i originally asked about an earlier delivery they worded it as still on track for the 16/12

I have sent them a chase this afternoon though and fingers crossed it will be delivered next week :) they have ad initial payment, document and they know the reg now too so it must be close.

I'm pretty much the same. Just waiting! Sent my docs through on Friday and paid first payment. I've got the reg number too.

Just going to chase up the lease company everyday now. I phoned the dealership it's meant to be going to today's but they knew nothing, even when I gave them reg number, nothing - just said speak to ur lease company. I'm becoming more and more impatient!!!

Hi I was looking at ceramic coating but it's a £500 job in the end I
Just got some good detailing stuff applied a gloss and a wax to seal in paintwork looks fantastic now and seems a lot Easyer to clean and beads off the car

Just as a bit of info for anyone in the North, the Verona is in the English Channel at the moment and is expected to dock in Tyneside tomorrow at 21:00.

I had my Alor Blue hb cupra order cancelled a few weeks back, but managed to secure a dynamic grey dsg for similar price (cancelled order) so I'm chuffed. Pick it up tomorrow. Just got a 200 mile train journey first!

I had a new car protection applied to mine using Kamikaze ISM Coat and Kamikaze Miyabi along with the seats and interior fully coated. It's well worth the cash IMO, but also helps that my mate owns the company so did it for a good price!

If you're in the south I can't recommend Ed at Divine Detail enough.

Anyone going to wrap the lower lip on the front grill? Wondering if to have a go myself, would you go matte or gloss?

I've got some Gloss. Going to have a go myself.
Had my last one wrapped but was cold and wet day.
I'd suggest warm garage to work with the wrap with heat gun. In 2 degrees it goes brittle the second the Gun is off.
Have fun.
