Saw my 290 Black in Red at the dealers this morning, just off the transporter.
Can't wait for Wednesday now to go and pick it up.
Wasn't 100% keen on the wheels from the brochure or website but think they look better in the flesh.

Got my triple R splitter waiting to go on, plus might get a set of the side skirts in gloss black fitted too.

Bit of a joke. Ordered 19th August, just called and Seat saying
build week 46/47......

I bet this is going to hit 18 weeks from the time of order [:@]

Business Contract Hire - Place called Wessex Fleet.

I think these leasing companies/brokers that piggy back off big funder deals like Alphabet, Arval, Lex get put to the back of the queue

Wish id gone direct and not through a leasing company people on here who ordered after me have their cars now, I'm still waiting. Looks like they took ages to put the order through. Updates are also non existent, that's with freedom contracts. Will not be using them again that's for sure, once they have your admin fee they don't really care anymore.

They also tell you lies all the time, as what they tell me is totally different to what Seat say.

They do lie, only last week my portal said something totally different.

It's not the end of the world, gives me more time to sell mine but the lack of communication is pretty bad. Mind, at £218 per month I'm not complaining too much.

Dealer prices were more expensive when I ordered so I guess you can't have it both ways.

I had gone through Park Vehicles who are affiliated with Johnsons Ltd. I ordered July 21st, updates were outstanding with screenshots of their real-time system. I take delivery on 20th October. The paperwork was all Seat Finance, which I was surprised about. A much better and easier process than with other lease brokers and Alphabet finance.

CVL are seemingly stuck with a system whereby they have to ring the dealers (or email) for an update and have no real-time system to look at themselves. The Pistonheads thread on our Cupras names DM Keith ooop North as one of their dealers, but I doubt that they'll want to give me the info.

I'm sure one of the lads on PH had said he'd just rang up a bunch of dealers asking if they'd an order with his name on, and is now getting info directly from the dealer.

Mine is via CVL as well, I seem to get a completely different build week each time I ring up

Craig at CVL gave me the build number after a bit of protest (I just said I’d ring him every other day for updates, or he could give it to me and I’d pester Seat UK instead) but wouldn’t tell me the dealers – neither would Seat.
What’s strange, is that the PH thread says that people are picking up from dealers so they have to know where to go!
To be honest, I’m being a pain in the ar$e as I’ll be having a new car detail from a friend who owns his own detailing company and he said to request PDI only…no hand washing at the dealers! He’s been in the game long enough to see how much damage is inflicted on the paints surface after only one bad hand wash from their forecourt monkeys, so asked Craig if he could request no wash before delivery. No idea if he’s asked – be probably just furrowed his brow, tutted and carried on with his day.

I've been pestering my lease company too! Just managed to get the order number for my cupra (ordered end of aug, build week 42 this week ;)). they sent over the order information and it had loads on, including the dealer where it will be delivered to so im going to give them a bell to see if they know the status.

Its lucky that im going to be within 5 mins of the dealership too so i can pick up. Happy days.

I ordered 2nd August, quoted build week 47. Looks like about 19 weeks for me. The wait is painful!
