Rang dealer as mine was scheduled for week 39 build but it is now week 41 but unconfirmed! Not too happy as it will be cutting it close as my current car goes on the 31st.

To the dealers credit he did say if it was delayed he would see about a loan car me me

I was told by the lease company that I am build week 42 and this should be delivered at the start of November. Does this sound right to everyone, or am I looking at more December? Thanks

well considering i'm build week 37 and mine was supposed to be due mid October, it's already in the country and should be at the dealer any minute, you're probably looking at mid/end November maybe if they've caught up with their back order.

Thanks for the reply, looks like I'm going to be walking for a bit when my ST goes back next week! This is the most painful wait ever, but before ya know it it's 2 years gone.

yeah the wait is the worse bit, each week gets slower and slower, it's not ideal that Seat don't have the online tracking that VW have, i was always checking the forums of how long people have waited, and the lack of updates was driving me mad! just keep ringing Seat once you have your S reference number!

I ordered mine 15 July from Carly at Lookers Stockport. She told me 12-14 weeks (mid October). Ever the pessimist (aka realist), I had told myself not to expect it before the 14 weeks, at least. Carly, true to her word, kept me updated along the way. I didn't have to call her once. I was promised build week starting 12 Sept. She contacted me on the 14th to say it was built and on the ship. Then I got a call to say it was at the dealership. I collected last week (11 weeks after order).

The moral of the story is to accept the wait (if you want a Cupra) and chill out. I borrowed three different vehicles and got the train for a month. Even though 11 weeks is a long time, I still feel like I've got it 3 weeks early!

stupid question time...does the Cupra 290 have brake assist? popped into my head earlier and couldn't find any information about it, i'm guessing it's just called city assist?

You can see the black square on the bottom of cars that have it, and the photos people have been putting up of their new cars don't seem to have it. The golf's get it as standard. Shame as would be nice

12-14 weeks is nothing! My mum waited 18 months for her Macan Turbo!

I ordered on the 13th July and I ended up with week 42, poor going really! 18months waiting for a car is crazy, but suppose it depends on what kinda deal ya got.
