Build week for new Cupra 290's

OK so just heard my order hasn't been cancelled but I am looking at around Christmas for delivery - pretty grim considering I ordered 1st week in August. Guess others are in the same boat.......Probably not the best metaphor to use as it implies the car has left Spain!

Damn that doesnt sound good I hope mine is still on track for Mid Dec i only ordered a few weeks ago though.

I'm already chomping at the bit to get the car lol to make things worse i went on a work course earlier this week and the hire car was a Leon (not a Cupra) just made me want it even more

Did CS tell you that ours built on Monday didn't make the Tuesday boat? They said to check back at the end of the week to see what's happening

Well mine was built on the 26th and will get the boat on 4th October - 8 days later!

Then you'll be wanting to take it after new year so it's a 2017 registration and be worth a little bit more!

Yes they did mention that...then we're getting close to facelift territory at this rate. I just don't know how I can wait this long. Completely obsessed. I look at the 360 degree of the Black on the Seat configurator everyday and have watched every conceivable English language review on Youtube a thousand times!

Wow tell me about it ! I thought I was the only one . I've also watched every single review of the 290 and even the 280 in every conceivable language at least 5 times each. The wait is killing me

Might ring back tomorrow and double check, but she definitely said it'll be going on the ship on 4th October!

Dealer said they were taking it upon themselves to send a transporter down (possibility), presuming they are unloaded of the ship.

Not sure, I was not expecting the call, it came quite late in the day and I was more concerned that he said he was having difficulty with the lease papers or something, he calling me first thing so I'll ask
