As we all know, the computer figures are 'optimistic' at the best of times!
Sorry for the bad photo but this is tempting me a lot 222 Hp
Omg - I must unsee! I have enough power for now. Honestly.
222 Hp is bordering on golf gti territory
Well my long term is showing 36.9 but when I refilled the other day my calculations on fuelly made 33MPG.
So that's pretty much a 4mpg difference
Madness. What company is offering this?
Trouble is that with such a big hike in power you really need to upgrade the brakes to Cupra spec and probably the cooling system too. And then there's warranty, insurance and reliability issues to consider. Is the transmission strong enough?
But as you imply it's awful lot of bang per buck.
Regarding the Cupra - it is only 0.9 seconds faster 0-60 than the 1.4 ecotsi. The 1.4 ecotsi is a remarkable engine really.
The Cupra manages to reach 100 in around 19 seconds and the 1.4 in around 21.5.
Literally drove like a granny to work this morning!

Not sure where those figures come from - but suggest Cupra horses are smaller that 14ecotsi ones.

No this is the 1.0TSI, which is why I'm expecting more MPG than you guys!
It's a DSG so the green light is telling me to put my foot in the brake before starting the engine
