Wow nearly everything is a option on seats uk website

Lot of standard kit in the FR but xenons, reversing sensors, dark windows etc are options - however the list price in the UK for a 1.4Ecotsi 150 with metallic paint is around £1600 pounds less than in your country so I guess it's a bit of swings and roundabouts.

What is the list price over here? Dealer told me what discount I got but not sure.

Discount in Holland lol never heard of on a new car but I did get €2000 more on my trade in car

Wow, no one here pays list price! Good on the trade in though, all comes off what you have to pay! I sold my Corsa today through ebay getting an extra £1000 than trade in offered.

I've read this thread with interest as a potential owner of an Ibiza ST 1.4 150 FR
I normally buy nearly new to 1year old or so to save money but suitable cars are scarce,so I looked at new possibilities and was surprised to see that an on line search showed that big discounts were available.
An example (from a SEAT dealer not far away, so believable):

List price (including the options I picked) £18330
Discounted price £14429

Anyone else want to share their discount/buying experiences?

I'm currently leasing a 2015 1.2TSI FR Black Edition for £132 p/m 7 months upfront, 15k miles per year over 2 years with lease4less, anyone reading who's interested in getting a new Ibiza FR, it's well worth a look!

Looking at their website you must have got a lucky deal as they are now offer a 1.2TSI FR for £132 p/m but with 9 months upfront - plus £180 arrangement fee. Based on 8000 miles.

Works out at £189 per month for just 8000 miles.

I did, that's what I jumped at it! But thinking about it now, I don't think it was 7 months up front, I think it was also 9 - It was around £1k anyway... Ideal for me though because it's my first car so it's under warranty obviously and relatively cheap to insure, not to mention I wouldn't want to hold on to a car for longer than 2 years because hopefully my insurance will go down by then so I'll be able to upgrade!

Not a bad car for your first! Mine was a MG Metro Turbo that blew it's head gasket, ripped out it's engine mountings, smashed it's gearbox to bits, overheated, was nicked twice(why!) - i could go on!

Hahah that doesn't sound too good mate! I drove my dads Astra 1.6 SRi (2005) for about 6 months then took it for an MOT and got billed for £650 so it put me off buying an older car haha!

Drove a 1.2 TSI Leon as a hire car for work and it was a lot quicker than the Astra etc so thought it could only be better in an Ibiza and I was right!

It wasn't good - really wanted an Ford XR2 but they were hard to find - went for the MG thinking it would be similar. Ha ha. My daughters are getting towards driving age so I keep telling them not to bother with second hand and to lease a small car for under £100 a month as they will spend less on repairs, MOT's etc and have a decent car to boot.
