Big fish tuning came highly recommend from a few different sources so booked the R in for a custom remap. I was half expecting it to make slightly more power standard but it would seem the data logging and diagnostics was showing the timing at +5.3deg which was holding the car back, Iv always found the power delivery to be a little lumpy and the graph shows it. The new map is a hell of an improvement over standard, it's smoother with a wall of torque that needs feeding in with the right foot,it'll take some getting used too,

Small update,the sun was shining this morning so I took the opportunity to fit the H&R trak+ 20mm Hubcentric wheel spacers to the rear axle

I also replaced the unbranded Ali 15mm hubcentrics that where fitted to the front with matching H&R ones. She was a little twitchy having the front track wider than the rear but now it's back to being balanced and not such a handful under acceleration.
Also got my battery box fitted too without removing the Batteryeasiest mod yet.


Iv still got the TTRS brake cooling vanes to fit,it may be dry but it's still cold so that can wait till warmer times .

Coming upto 11months Ownership, and covered approx 13k miles, nearly 10k covered on the MPSS.Looking to source a second set of wheels at some point in the future so Iv opted to replace the worn MPSS with the new Goodyear Eagle F1 asym3's for daily duties and hopefully north of 10k miles.

If funds allow I'll be after a set of TD 1.2's and after the positive experience of the MPSS I'll be looking to shod them with the cup2 semi slicks.

I might aswell pull my finger out and fit the TTRS brake cooling vanes too

Revo SPS pro is basically a polar fis module with a couple little Revo extras, it basically lets you monitor real time engine sensor info via the MFD ,aswell as a performance timer and if you've got Revo software you can toggle between maps and make adjustments.i think there's a couple other little things you can do aswell like enabling the mirror tilt while in reverse.

The Revo Sps pro looks/sounds like a good bit of kit, being able to switch maps and see all the data on screen.
I've just the Polar Fis Avdvance going to have a go installing it today, have you seen where the gateway is, looks like it could be a right pain in the arse to get to.

One of the features I'm kinda interested in monitoring is the torque,it might help with throttle modulation and not spinning up the fronts as much, if it works like anyway

That's my Polar Fis all fitted. It took about an hour all together. You can't get access from the footwell or where OBD port is, this is the red plug from the where the OBD port is



I took the wind screen wiper motor out and through in to the back of the dash right where the gateway is.

Having ran out of daylight, I grabbed a couple tools and the Revo SPS pro and made off to find some light(not having a garage sucks) ended up in Tesco underground car park in Gateshead.

About 45mins later and having put the car back together and reconnected the battery the Revo SPS pro is up and running, I had time for a little tinker before setting off home via a Chinese takeaway lol

And trying the stopwatch out,0-60mph pretty useless trying in this weather


30mph to 130mph would probably be better .

yeah,Iv not got much experience pulling the Leon to bits but it was straight forward enough,a little unnerving bending the plastic rain tray back under the bonnet for easy access but it went without much fuss,you need this out the way for access to the left washer motor torx fitting

I just followed the instructions in the link Kev kindly posted from auto-polar forum, it could of been a little more informative,but a little common sense goes a long way.i d do with a ganders at lockys or another Leon to see if Iv put the metal plenum tray back in the right place,I should of paid more attention when pulling it apart lol

Tools,

13mm socket
10mm socket
T30 torx bit
Slotted screw driver.used to push the clip in on the gateway plug made it easier to separate with one hand

I'm not sure where others have secured the actual box as space is limited, but I used some 3mVHB tape and stuck it just below where the red plug is and fed the usb cable down to where the OBD port is and cable tied into a neat bundle , I usually take pictures but I was using my phone as a torch and walk through guide at the time

I'm glad to see you've got the SPS pro fitted ok.
It wasn't the best of guides but it was the only one I could find. I did think about taking a load of pictures when I fit my polar fis but once I made a start I forgot all about the pictures and cracked on with the job.
I ran the cable from the gateway towards the OBD port area and cable tied the polar fis to a plastic bracket the hold the heater blowers, I was on my back in the foot well for a while deciding where to fasten it to. Where it's ended up I can plug the cable to update the polar fis just above my brake pedal, which I thought was handy.

If you post some 30-130 times I'll have a go and see how they compared when I've done a few.

I'm selling up because we need to upgrade from our current 2 bed flat to a house to accommodate our growing family,

I'd like a garage to, so Iv got some where to tinker/machine polish and Iv aspirations of getting a motorbike at some point in the future, so I see it as a short term loss
