Similar here. Ordered the 290 17th November and pick up first week of March so 16 reg also. Currently en route from the port to the dealership. Ordered direct thought SEAT and it has been very straightforward and first class service. I couldnt find a better deal elsewhere either and believe me I did a lot of research.

Did you ask for pix? And what was your spec? Have you heard final word on what tyres we get?
I'll have to ask for a pic now you mention it! As car is pretty well kitted out as standard I didn't bother with any options other than the multi spoke black alloys and ice silver metallic. Went for manual as cannot abide any form of auto or dsg, especially in a car like this. Oh and it's a 5 door hatch as have kids.
Was told I had to order the multi alloys otherwise I would have had a 6 month lead time at least! As it happens I prefer them so it's not a problem! I'm sure it's just a way to increase the price tag, but I did negotiate them as a no cost option in the end so saved 600 odd quid.

Re the tyres, I'm hoping for Goodyear asymmetrical but I reckon they are now coming with continental sc5's which are pretty good. I think they realised the bridgestones were overpriced utter shite!

Yeah spike, they are an option here in the uk. £610 for the set. I can see them being a nightmare for scratches though
Some interesting mods to this Cupra ST ......full black wheels certainly suit it. Been thinking about doing this with mine for a while.

The change in spec probably won't be announced until much closer to MY17 models being built in May. There were rumours the Leon would get a face lift this year but not sure if that is confirmed.
Sorry, not May, dealer said March. He also said that probably the Navi display will be bigger (8" or 8,5") and Blind Spot detection. I am not sure now if there will be some "upgrade" of actual model in March, or if these things will be related to the new facelift...
