TTRS brembos will not only stop the car quicker more consistently and have more feel, they reduce your unsparing weight by around 15kg
Stop more consistently maybe, but not quicker. You are limited by the grip of the tyres.

Don't see the point in paying X amount of money for a lsd and fitting on say a stage 1 cupra when for a small amount decent rubber anti roll bars and springs would do the job, yes it's impressive but better in big power and more beneficial

I've owned and driven cars with LSD fitted. Great for the racetrack, not necessary for the daily drive. Money better spent elsewhere.
as harsh as the initial bite is on the oe single piston sliding caliper it's not backed up with any real stopping power, back to back test them for yourself ,you'll be on the brakes sooner and for longer compared to the Brembo setup
1piston vs 4 piston now that is physics
Haha absolutely! Yeah I would matey - just a nice little touch IMO.
Heh Supercopa is going back in the next few weeks as the old boy is picking up his Cupra 290 to be honest! I'm in the trade so managed to get him a good price on one We were looking into a stage 1 remap on the Supercopa but it never came to anything really. She's served us well but time to move on!
We were torn between the Nevada White and Midnight Black but gone for the latter as its' just a bit more stealthy and low key. If I had the balls I'd have one in white with the orange line kit on it but I'd be worried it'd attract the wrong attention or I'd get bored with it - or both!
Spec we've gone for is: Manual 290, Black paint, 19" Multi Spokes and SEAT sound system. VERY excited!
Not tootling around town no, but then why would we modify at all if that was the case.surely if all we are doing is daily driving then why would you lower a car and fit stiffer arbs because all that will do is make the car more uncomfortable ,
Effectively you lower to reduce centre of gravity and fit stiffer arbs to reduce roll when cornering, I'm not saying don't fit them but certainly don't dismiss a magical bit of kit like a LSD
An LSD will help you pull out of a T-junction quicker and with less fuss not not,
Is that the 65 play / 2016 model?
Cant lose with a black car, although im sure both black and white show dirt just as bad! Often end up washing the car every week haha!
I found it pretty annoying Seat didnt got with the Stock AWD that both VW and Audi use. Definitely would benefit the car massively! Either way sounds like you got a beast!
Aye it's a MY16... unsure of whether it'll be a 65 plate or 16 but personally I'd like a 16 plate.. the old boy doesn't seem to mind and it's his car at the end of the day! Should be on our soil in the next 3 weeks or so as we got confirmation the car is built awaiting shipment so getting excited now... cheers!
Hmm can't say I really mind in honesty... keeping it FWD just keeps with the typical hot hatch layout as well as the fact ours is manual it should be a right hoot... I've never loved the DSG system and tbh I'd miss changing gear the old skool way!
