Buying a car purely on reviews?!?
Why not? Their raving about it. I was lucky enough to test drive the 280 hatch back and coming from an avensis 1.6 ltr petrol year 2000 I didn't think the speed it effortlessly gathered was legal before everybody starts laughing...... Previous ownership , 205 gti, Williams Clio, Clio 172, type r EP3 ! Then I saved some bobs and took my time purchasing the C290. Persauded the wife a family hatchback is what we needed and so here I am. She has a heavy foot, won't be long till she losses the license.
Silver I think works best with the spoke alloys , pillars and mirrirs

Lol I told my missus it's a sensible family hatch with 5 doors. She doesn't know jack about cars so I hope I manage to maintain the illusion...I gues that means Cupra mode will be staying switched off when she's in the car then

Where is the wheel changing kit and wheel locking nut kept? Had a quick look and can't find it. I have Seat Sound.

Test driving a 290 today (currently a 280 owner) so I will posting later today to give you guys my opinion on the differences between the two, especially the rumoured 'improved' exhaust!

Few options I'm considering when my lease is up in April:

290 (the less similar to the 280 the better IMO)
BMW M135i (most favourable so far)
Golf R.

Will let you know how it goes!

Definitely only two silencer on new exhaust and in cupra mode its sounds like a beast for that kind of sleeper

The one at Star City, right?

They took it out of transport mode while I was waiting, so I reckon I was the first to test drive it. But definitely there mate.

He foned me earlier on saying a cupra 290 just arrived 5 minutes ago lol but I couldnt make it down today so il be going there tommorow. How was it ? Any difference from the 280 ?
