Going to order a Cupra 290. What do you think of these options?

Hi guys i'm new to the forum. I plan to order a seat leon cupra 290 5dr DSG with following options:

Ice silver
ACC
SEAT sound
Safety pack 2

RR £31699

Would anyone recommend any further options?

Also If i were to use drivethedeal the car would cost £26309. If i were to use broker4cars the cost of the car would be £25425 (difference of £884).

I have read that cars offered by broker4cars sometimes are pre-registered hence the cheaper price. Would anyone recommend i go with them over drivethedeal?. Would broker4cars also offer 0% APR finance as on the website the example finance deal on a PCP stated 5.5% APR.

Finally how easy is it to get PCP finance from SEAT? My current score on equifax is 382 (fair). National average is 380.

Thanks in advance

Hi, the car is pretty well specced as standard so I wouldn't personally spend loads on options. I think the sound and ACC are probably worth it. I've ordered a 5dr manual 290 in ice silver due early March. I don't get on with autos/DSG so went manual.

As far as I know you should be fine for pcp as long as you don't have a poor credit rating; issues such as late payments on credit and defaults. The credit is secured on the vehicle so pretty low risk lending really. Try the leasing route if looking to hand back in 2/3 yrs as I found this quite a bit cheaper than PCP deals. I am leasing direct through SEAT, best deal I found by far.

If convinced you are going pcp, call DTD and broker4cars to ask about the pre reg status.

If you order one now your most likely going to get it in April and by that time the sun should be out :D so go for a panroof. In my opinion it totally changes the look of the car for the better.

Also the multi spoke alloys make the car look like a beast.

Winter pack and sports seats are worth having. Acc is brilliant if you'll get the use from it. Save on the dsg and go manual much more involving and the enthusiasts chic, unless you do loads of stop start driving or just want a fast run about then dsg is a good lazy driving option. :D either way you'll love the car I'm sure.

Ive got the dsg. When I want to enjoy the performance I wish I had bought the manual however the other 80% of my driving time I'm going to work, carting kids around etc the dsg is the correct choice. Its a great gearbox.

Sub8 pack ( the brakes are awesome )

Pan roof on my ST wouldnt be without it.

The stereo upgrade is a must.

Nothing wrong with the standard brakes (unless you are tracking it) and the stereo is great as well. DSG and spare wheel is all you actually need.

Seat sound system has the sub woofer mounted within the spare wheel, hence the need for the spare.
In any case, the latest spec for a Cupra includes spare as standard.
