Hello,

I am driving 2003 SEAT Leon 1.9 TDI with 110 horsepower (stock).

I want to tune motor and reach 160+ horsepower, and 310 N-m + .

Can someone explain to me what to do, what parts do I need and what steps to take when installing them??

In addition to performance , I want my car to sound awesome with no loud exhaust.. Will I get better sound if I install KnN air intake on this engine and which blow off valve to install?

Hi mate Diesels don't have blow off valves, a remap will get you the extra power you need.

Thanks for response,

I know that Diesels don't have blow off valves, but I want to install it just because of wsssshhh sound. :)

A remap will get me (I think) 135-140hp, but I want just that little extra.. :)

If you hav money, get yourself a decent exhaust system, Milltek or cobra, that will give you an extre few HP, change your filter for one that doesn't draw in hot air, I have a CDA induction kit cost me a pretty packet but what a difference in power and noise.

Have a look at darkside developments etc for tuning a diesel. Sorry, maybe i should of said diesels can't have blow off valves. They are only for petrol turbos.

I used to have an ibiza with the same engine. Did a stage 1 remap, front mount intercooler for a 1.8t , green induction kit and super sprint full exhaust including downpipe which removed the cat and centre silencer. Reckon it was about 150bhp at that point. Wasn't loud but sounded more like a petrol with a good "whoosh " from the exhaust. I then fitted larger injectors and had it remapped again which should have taken it to approx 170bhp. At this point the clutch/flywheel started to slip due to the amount of torque. Decided to revert back to standard injectors and stage 1 map. Car was quick and reliable . I covered 100k miles in it with no issues including various track days and a 4000mile/ten day trip round Europe where it sat at 140mph flat out .
