Does anyone have a problem keeping them clean?
I have a policy of no food or drink in the car, well all my cars actually.
There have been a few instances of watermarking of late (the car is 12 months old) but I collected SWIMBO's daughter from the train station the other week & she rested her telescopic umbrella on the seat. Surely enough, a large water mark/ring appeared when dry.
This weekend (not ideal weather) I used upholstry cleaner (1001?) & liberally dampened the seats then vacced with a wet vac. I repeated this a couple of times then dried the seats fully using the aircon. I then dry vacced as per instructions,
This morning the seats looked better than new. However it's been raining here all day. My job entails being in & out of the car all day & guess what? Damp suit pants & water marks again..............
Has anyone else experienced this or has any ideas other than seat (no pun intended) covers to stop this?

yeah mine gets the same water marks, I just keep cleaning them up. Have thought about some sort of fabric conditioner but not had time to research it yet

Yes, my seats are the same. They do fade after a while, but it is quite a pain.

No, but then again I did spray all my upholstery with a waterproofing anti soiling agent the day that I took delivery. the stuff I use is for leather coats but it works fine on frabric

Not too far away
I have used Gtechniq i1 on both cloth and alcantara interiors and it does the trick at preventing water damage. Stinks the car out for a few hours but its great stuff. Also used it on a sofa to protect against spills :)
