Well he's come back with a figure of 347 a month with 500 deposit which is quite good.
What does the normal sat nav do as apparently it has that not high nav.

Ah so it's got SSS but not high Nav. Standard nav is ok but res is low and system quite slow on response.

Well have to test it and see. If i can maybe get an extra years warranty and a full tank might not be too bad.
May aswell give it a drive and see.
The extras with the high nav are nice though. Anyone know what phones are compatible?
Does it have voice activation atall on the normal sat nav

If you go in with cash you'll have more room to play with than if you take their finance. Either way you should be able to get something off the price.

Not necessarily on the 'better deal' front going in with cash.

Salesmen and dealers get a commission from selling finance packages on top of the commission for selling a car. So they are more likely to offer a better discount on a vehicle if you take out their finance package, as they'll earn an extra commission.

To get a better deal, sometimes the dealer will offer a better discount on the vehicle if you take their finance.

A savvy buyer (from people who've done it this way) is to agree the finance deal, if it stacks up as a better deal & pay the finance off within the cooling off period......IF you can do this.

Whichever way you look at it the only thing that matters is the overall cost to change your vehicle :)

You could get a brand new 290 for that much a month or less wit no options and about £1600 deposit . Don't get stroked buying 2nd hand, they can't shift them just look on auto trader and piston heads for example there's many dealers with year old cupra's and they're almost stuck with them depreciating each month as with 0% finance on new it's cheaper to have one that way.

Go for a lower price and remember it's a buyers market, they're more desperate to sell than you are to buy.

Yeah I wouldn't consider a base spec one though so I think buying new is out for me.

You'd be surprised, get a quote from some well known car deal sites with the options you want and see the price they offer with 0% finance you might be surprised. Base spec is pretty decent tbh,for me the bucket seats in hind sight are required as the standard ones are crap, nowhere near enough lateral support. Colour packages are a waste of money. Maybe get the full link if you need to otherwise the car is kitted out with all you really need.

CarWOW was a good bargaining tool st my local dealer to beat their price of 26k, got the Cupra for a steal with some optional extras!
