Added on the last two items because I figured they would be nice little extras to have second time round. Fingers crossed I get a 290 but as I mentioned in another post the dealer and Seat UK can not confirm what I will get as they do not have a build week.
I have been told the lead time for my car now that it does not have the standard wheels has gone from 26 weeks to 11-13 weeks.

Good choice. I think monsoon is better than black.... Black hides the lines and angles of the car too much.
The dealer said the following to me:
"Regards the 290ps, there is no date of when this car is going into production. I have just called SEAT and this is the information they have given me. However, if the cars build week falls into the date change then the car will be automatically upgraded to the 290ps without any additional cost to yourself. So, it would be the 280 that I will have to order as there is no option to build the 290 at this time."

Good choice...wish I had added ACC as well...it sounds very useful with the emergency stop.

Yes without a doubt...best colours are white and grey...black hides those beautiful lines and angles more.

Exactly what happens with the yearly up grade/revisions. I ordered a my15 and got a my16 at no extra cost even though it have a few extras.
I'm pretty much in the same boat, just ordered one today but dealer didn't have any information on it at all - or at least wasn't willing to divulge anything!
I wonder at what point you would find out if you were going to receive a 280 or 290? Especially as they don't seem to know when production of the 290 will start...

Really like the monsoon with orange line.... I just didn't have the balls to order it!
Just been given my build week by Seat Customer Services UK. Apparently my car will be built in Week 46 which is exciting. Apparently there was an additional 4 weeks added included in that as the reversing camera is on back order. It seems crazy that there are all these lead times on this car! Hopefully it will be worth the wait.
This build date means that I should receive my car mid to late December which is better than the March date I was given for Black with the standard wheels.

Thanks for the video I figured such a lovely car deserved to be bold! After All Seat are the dominant forcealso some might disagree but the cupra looks exactly like my 1.2 Leon (exception of afew tweaks) So I figured lets go completely different to my white one. Hope I don't regret it!

Im new to the seat scene, had my FR SC 1.4 ACT since March and i love it!! Was in my local Seat dealership last week and was geting a service. Before i knew what was going on i walked away with ordering a Cupra
Like CupraCoxy i went for the Monsoon Grey with Orange pack, think it looks really good together. Also added the full link and kept the rest the same.
Been told it could be into Jan for delivery, Surely that cant be right?
I just want my new toy

Good choice re Cupra and colour...16 weeks is about average wait for a factory order...sometimes quicker sometimes longer.

I picked up my car on Saturday and I’m loving it. Have a constant grin on my face that I don’t think will ever go away! Getting loads of looks from people, don't know if it’s the new 65 Reg or the Awesome looking Car as yet but I expect it’s the latter. Will get a few picks uploaded when I get a minute.
So my car is ready for collection on Friday (Franchised dealer)
Options: Full link, winter pack and black line pack.
Order: 26th June
Build: Week 33 (TBC)
Collection: 25th September
So 91 days in total including a summer shutdown. Not to bad at all I'd say.
My current Mk3 was 10 weeks from order back in 2013 when the 1.8 was new into production.

I ordered Monsoon grey ST290 at the beginning of Sept. With winter packet,3+ warranty,full link,front/rear sensors...can't wait but have no eta...maybe 1Q or 2Q of 2016...
