Same kit as mine then Deano :)

Yep - was getting it in the neck from my lad about our lack of trail centre visits since I picked up the Leon.

Only option was to get the SEAT kit

Annoyingly - it is only the plates and rubber feet that are different to the Ibiza.

Will throw the Ibiza kit on fleabay to pull some money back in.

Ahh, thats sucky!

Good to get out on the trails though :)

Also ive clear vinyled patches where the feet go.
Im quite particular about my paintwork, tryed the bare rubber before I fully corrected the car. Surprisingly they etched in the numbers from the feet, well you could read them back to front if you get me but on the paint... [:@]

Doug,

Looking at getting some bars, worried about the damage to the paint.

Did you get the vinyl patches as a kit from somewhere, or DIY'd them ?

Cheers
Dave

Hi Dave,

No its not a kit. I just bought some clear 3M vinyl on ebay, cut slightly bigger than the rubber foot and rounded the edges with a stanley knife and a strong round plastic lid
Not too noticeable, but thats no big deal as would rather it saved the paint :)

Doug.

Sorry to drag up an old thread, but if anyone is after some oem 3dr racks there is a company on eBay selling them for £90 which In my eyes an absolute steal. Basing on how much I paid for my 5dr racks.

I had to purchase them last minute for a trip, and can confirm they contain the feet listed in an earlier post. So no need for a short roof adapter.
