Well guys the Peron fmic and my china copy turbo/throttle pipes are on,blow me forgot my bloody camera lol
fitted the China copies of the cts pipes, throttle side no probs but turbo side where it mounts to the engine we had to use washers to space it out so it wasn't fouling the belt or water pipes, all back together and noticed the Peron turbo silicone pipe was to long and was causing a kink,so popped it off and trimmed it down now all sweet, car feels so much more free revving and power to the limiter, throttle response increased also so all good tbh,I'll have the revo settings tweaked when I'm over at aks tuning in june, also done my first launch,WOW....

Loved the work on your K1 and looks like your doing a great job on th R. Small details make it stand out. Has to be the motor to replace my Cupra one day!

Had a nice bit of carbon lying around in the shed for a few weeks so thought its about time it went on,firstly though washed, sealed and waxed

made into 1 piece and stuck the tigerseal on,done 1 side and taped into place but noticed the other side was out...
undone all the tape again to try and adjust it and get it sitting flush as it can to find all the tigerseal pee'd out of the sides and onto the bumper making it look a right pigs ear grrr, sorry cant leave it on like that, so off it came, ive spent a good couple of hours trying to remove all the tigerseal off the bottom of the bumper and carbon

Quite a big update this time guys...
finally got round to having the suspension mods etc fitted at Aks Tuning

Bilstein Pss10,H&R arbs,Superpro Arms and Salk

Back on its wheels

Next was a service with some Millers Nanodrive and replaced the sump plug with an Ecs magnetic 1
Alex then shot down to have the fast road geo set up done

Finishing off with my custom catch can/42DD plate with forge boost tap ready for my new south gauge(not fitted)

Also had a few niggles sorted out, mine and alexs ocd when it comes down to work etc on the car lol
coupler removed and 'shaved' and replaced the split O ring
Cts silicone pipe removed and shaved for better fitment
Revo intake removed and had the heatshield cut down to fit over the coolant hose as it was actually fouling it
finally finished with a smoke test and everything was perfect :jumpmove:
Now with the power back and the handling the car feels so much tighter, sharper turn in and more confidence on any corners
how it sits now

more pics to follow
cheers

Well guys,
only a few bits n bobs done on the car,im not really 'feeling' the car atm???
since upgrading the mounts(which is probably why lol) the car doesnt seem to be as quick if you know what i mean??maybe its the cars not lurching forward when booting now cos its all stiffened maybe, also it seems like it drones now in acceleration, doesnt sound as nice when moving? maybe cos off these mounts again but seems fine from the outside lol
alex noticed that the peron fmic isnt sitting flush aswell, its on an angle and the throttle pipe is touching the fan shroud ;( and the bumper needs trimming so its getting booked in for another days work in october to sort this, intake manifold removed and stems cleaned then fitting RFD,then depending time wise the rear brakes will be upgraded with new brackets to run the larger discs, pads and Hel braided lines then a system flush with Ate super blue fluid
anyways sorry for the moaning lol, picked up a few bits n pieces over the past few weeks so gave it a go fitting etc
Newsouth boost gauge that matches the 'R' clocks and an Osir gauge holder vent

didnt fancy taking all the revo kit and battery tray etc to out get through the firewall so a mate pushed a metal coat hanger through from the inside and see where it came out

now hows that for jammy lol, took a couple of attempts and a few zip ties to hold it on but manged to do it eventually so over the moon, new nipple onto the forge boost tap then fed under the dash and up the side panel near the drivers side fuse box into vent ;)
now im not really into the electric side but after reading the newsouth guide for wiring it into the headlight switch with posi-taps(never seen these before) i thought id give it ago,10 mins later all up and running :jumpmove:

so easy to use
finished

well chuffed, only a few dress up parts for the engine went on aswell, forge washer cap and porsche coolant cap(no pic)

my big brake kit arrived today also so just giving it a quick clean and wax before fitting soon so ill update later
cheers for reading ;)
