Get it looked at by the stealers asap! mine has proper cracked and as i cant prove it wasnt caused by damage ive had to pay £120 for a new light. so get it reported now while its still looking like that.

as for the screenshots of the new stereo... i like the look of that - if i had the dials view id leave that on all the time.
Didn't take one of the lap timer that looked very good but yes leave the dials on and see what g I'm pulling when I come off the drive ha

That kind of upgrade would be worth travelling to somewhere/someone who knows what they are doing - haha

I took my car to be cleaned yesterday by the best Romanians in MK. They always do a good job on my car and have never complained until this happened:

When I saw it I said to one of the cleaners "What is this?!" He replied with "maybe you did it" and that's when I realised that I couldn't prove that I hadn't done it even though I most definitely know I didn't. So managed to make it a bit easier on the eye for now:

I have seen tis and I can guarantee that this is caused by a standard window squeegee, the type where the rubber is griped by an aluminium blade that attached to the handle. You are lucky in some respects that it is just the window rubber, a worse slip could have done your door panel

Activated 3D mapping in Nav High

Must admit I thought the satnav mapping was a bit ordinary in my new ST Cupra - just activated the 3D mapping and this is the centre of York showing the Minster

That looks fantastic! Does the mk2 splitter fit the mk3 ok then? (had a look on the website and only mk2 splitter was there)

Also where did you get your reg plate surround from?

Any pics from a bit further away?

No this is the mk3 splitter. Specified for the FR/Cupra. But yes it does look great. Really beefs up the front end! Here's the link:

And I got my pressed plates and surrounds from a stall at Santa Pod, sorry I can't be of more help.

Tried some carbon wrapping

Been messing about with some 4D carbon wrap and wondered what other members think - good or bad! Front splitter was a pig to do and will need redoing but as it was my very first attempt at a large area of wrapping, it isn't too untidy unless you get too close and look underneath

Also did some of the plain black centre console - took it all apart and individually wrapped - much easier to achieve a perfect result and very happy with the result, apart from my OCD won't tolerate the roof console having one piece with the pattern running in a different direction for much longer so will have to redo that bit!

Went for a blast up to Northumberland yesterday and on the way back, popped in for a most enjoyable chat about Leon ST's and other car talk with a member of this Forum - most enjoyable!

New car has now suddenly done nearly 900 miles, so took the bus to work this morning!

Thanks for fixing mate - read and reread the instructions and couldn't see where I'd gone wrong. Computer dimwit I guess! Thanks too for the feedback on the wraps - the good thing about wrapping is it's so easy to remove when you tire of the look or fancy a change (and saves me getting into bother with my wife when I practice on my car rather than hers :D)
