Hiya, just spent about an hour reading this whole thread; your car looks sick!!
I own a red leon fr and am looking to start modding that now (went to Mod Nats at the weekend and have been looking at too many nice leons and feel sad that mines standard). Want to start with small (ish) exterior mods first as haven't got a huge budget at the moment. There's just so much I want to do!!
Have ordered a honeycomb grill so guess I will start there! Also am looking to get a cupra R front splitter just not sure how well it will fit.
Really like your flocked facias they are a lovely touch- there's too much I want done now!!

I've never even thought about taking the seats out to clean, might have to give this a go on my days off.

Did you shampoo your seats? Any recommendations on interior cleaning products?

Looks great.

Wouldn't mind picking your brains on a few bits if your ever down the coast (am in Whitby)

Thanks, yeah no worries. Haven't been to Whitby for a while, might have to make a visit soon.

Thanks, the flocked fascias were really cheap, only £56 for everything. If you want a splitter, then look no further than Triple R as there's is the best around. Small things make a big difference. Most of my mods have been small ones apart from the remap and dpf gutting.

It's really easy to do, plus you can access all the hard to reach bits. I use Autoglym interior shampoo, but there are better products around.

How's the headlight tint film and plastidip holding up mate?

Surprisingly well, though the front badge has started to peel ever so slightly.

The FR had a new clutch, DMF and slave cylinder fitted yesterday. The cost of that has set me back a little and means I wont be buying much else for the car for a good few weeks.

Going to try and tidy the bodywork up as much as possible if the weather stays nice in the coming weeks. Ideally could do with a nice double garage or unit to lend for a weekend lol.

Not sure on exact figures as not had it on the rollers. With the dpf gutted an the remap I would expect 205-210 ish. Going to get it on rollers at some point though as very interested to see myself.

Yeah mines 210 bhp and around 320-330 ftlb. Was thinking of just using standard LUK clutch and flywheel from eurocarparts or using uprated clutch.

Whats the mileage of yours? Mine was original clutch and had done 88k. This new one feels so much better. Thats where mines from euro car parts. Not given it any real stick yet though as only done 60 mile on it.

Similar to mine, was mapped at 80k then started to slip about 83k and was progressively getting worse. I could have probably ran it for a few more weeks but the pedal had next to no bite to it so thought best to get it done.

I should get the timing belt done too next. I know my timing is ever so slightly out so should help if the map.
