Did this a few times on the old stg2 CR170 and it does indeed work, but it won't shift to 2nd for you. So you need to be real quick and any gained made on the launch are lost if you don't time the shift to 2nd perfectly.
And... It feels violent. Bad violent. As in... Gearbox is being shredded.

Also another one, to make both left and right of your dual zone climate control go up as one, hold the AUTO button for 3 secs

Actually no, holding the auto button to link left and right together is a prefacelift thing. I know because it works on mine.

ha massive brain fart there on my account then, I can even see the Dual button on the FL model you push to sync them too... never mind.

One thing that I have remembered on a similar vein but unsure if its PFL or FL is that if you set your AC to LOW or HIGH then push Auto, it goes back to 22c straight away.

The 80's 90's style LCD screen is Pre

Dials and light silver are facelift as in my car

The darker unit with the LCD display and buttons is pre facelift

I have a question on pre face lift climate control..
So no matter how it is set, pressing auto defaults to 22 on each side. Can this be reprogrammed to any default tempature?
