Mk7 Golf has door bins & glovebox wrapped in very smooth velvet finish material that makes all the diff id say.... Id happily pay to have the same stuff in me Leon....

Yeah, the Glove-box and cubby-holes & centre-console are really let down by this penny-pinching. I am surprised that Seat did not offer a better finish even if it was just an 'option' or on the top spec models. The rest of the car seems to be so competent?

hi mate pictures uploaded carpet was from wilkinsons £4:99 was stuck on with double sided tape called mamouth tape and can be purchased from ebay its brilliant.i made carboard templates first then applied to carpet and cut round then and stuck them on .hope this helps also done ccuntre compartment

what model do you have? I thought that all leons came with a "always open" cubby hole behind the gearstick. didnt know some had the option to close

Early models had a flap. It then became optional as part of the storage pack

Bloody pleased mine didn't have that poxy flap...
Makes the centre console look like a old Suzuki Vitara...
Id have changed the centre part in mine if it had it..
It still could have been bigger and deeper...

apart from a flap that often broke, the centre cubby will be even less bigger and deeper when they stupidly relocate a couple of media ports there
