Visited dealership today to sign credit agreement etc., picking my new Leon ST Fr up on Friday afternoon! :D
Wasn't allowed to see it as the dealer wants to do the whole unvailing thing for me on collection!
He did however tell me that the Tech pack will no longer be a free option from 3rd quarter of this year onwards, quite shocked by this but happy that I was in a position to get it whilst it's free.
Looking forward to Friday now...two more sleeps! :)

I ordered my St Fr end of March this year and was told to expect to wait anywhere between 12 - 16 weeks. Had an email last week to say it will be ready to collect within a fortnight. I'm a bit bemused by this as I have yet to sell my current car and will now probably be forced into part-exing it for a lot less. It means that I will be looking at extending my PCP term to make up the remainder of the deposit. On the upside, I get my new car earlier than expected (ever the optomist!)

Managed to shift my old motor just in the nick of time! Dropped the price on Autotrader to a 'too good to resist', part-ex busting figure which caught the attention of the buyer who came all the way from the other side of the country to bag it. Can waltz in to the dealer on Friday now armed with a cash deposit knowing that I needn't extend term of contract. Happy days!

I spoke to my dealer on Thursday, just to confirm that the build week is still at Week 20 (this coming week) and how long its been taking for cars to get from factory to dealership.

I was told its taking around and about 3 weeks to get from Barcelona dockside to the dealership, with the majority of that time being land transport when it arrives in the UK.

I have to say, I'm starting to get a little excited!

I spoke to mine on Wednesday to confirm the same.
I think we are quite literally in the same boat ! Haha..
Only downside is reading the MY16 thread and seeing the new models being build from BW22..

This time next month? Hopefully...

To be fair, I'm not overly bothered about the whole MY2016 thing. Yes, the G-Force meter would be awesome, but it probably comes with the risk of looking at that whilst going round corners and wrapping the car round a tree.

As soon as I hear anything I'll keep you posted.

Mine was estimated as Week 20 build and got confirmation today it will be built next week (even with standard Cupra seats and wheels)

I'd have liked the bigger nav screen but it seems the rear armrest will only be STs so I still miss out on that (boot hole good for snowboard chugging!)

Although the dealer has offered it me ASAP, I'm still waiting till Sept!

When did you ordered yours unkl77?

You're not going to be happy Kurje!

I ordered on 31st March and was told Build Week 20 the following week which has now been confirmed.

So possibly 12 weeks from order which suggests all the wheel and seat delays have gone.

I have ordered manual so your delay could be DSG related.

Haha no problem! I'm happy that you almost have yours :)
That is a very fast delivery!

Could it be the DSG? It can be ...

My dealer has a meeting next week with Seat and he is gonna ask why there are so much delays.

I'm in the UK so that might make a difference too.

Hope you get yours sorted soon Kurtje.

i made a mistake looking for and finding videos because it resulted in 3 months of torture while i waited :)

there's an "EXTREME TEST" video taken during the 5F's development in 2013. at the one minute mark i presume they're listening for causes of extraneous noises and rattles. judging by the end result that owners experience i guess they didn't fully understand or complete their remit.
