So the i'm thinking about going stage 2 on my lcr.

Im currently running a stage 1 Revo map, with a Milltek (non resonated) catback exhaust (standard downpipe and cat in place). I would like a 3" downpipe and decat pipe. Do I have to go for a Milltek branded downpipe and decat so it fits to the catback? (Which I believe is 2.75").

What is the sound like comapared to that of a Cobra non resonated turboback?

Thanks in advance!

Can't answer the sound question but no, you don't have to get a milltek downpipe to mate with your catback. I have a pipewerx dp on mine no issues.

Yep that should fit.

Can't answer the map question as I went straight to a stage 2 map. Hope this doesn't come across wrong but feeling quick and actually being quick can be quite different. A map with a lot of boost and torque can feel brilliant low down but comparatively flat at the top whereas something smoother will actually put the power down and in my case at least I even get another kick at 5.5k rpm which is fantastic.

I understand completely. It does seem that I have a huge surge of boost and torque low down in the rev range that feels great (although I do lose traction very easily). It has to be said that it seems to back off slightly when the revs get higher - probably around 5,500 rpm. Im just hoping I'll still get that pushed back into your seat feeling low down. Either way, I suppose overall driveability will increase due to the power delivery being smoother across the entire rev range.
