Wrapped grill and front bumper (bit behind the number plate) in gloss black. Nightmare job and not perfect but has to do for now.

Clocked my first 1000miles on my in to work, jeez time just flies especially after the anticipation of the waiting for the car to arrive.

Not even clocked 1000 yet, lol! I'm on 978! But today I drove to Trentham Gardens, parked up, had a lovely chilled walk (not old, just stressed) without the kids, and drove back home... Not good for the car, but so good for me ;-)

Turned the sound thing down to 30%, finaly I can enjoy cupra mode.
Enabled the HVAC function
Turned off the Start / Stop system
Full tank of 98 octane

Ohh, I "accidently" ordered a TMC box aswell. :)

Next monday, I've booked time for a detailing session :) Will pick it up at tuesday.

Sound proofed front passenger and driver doors with Silent Coat Absorber foam and 2mm deadening sheets. Doors feel much more solid. No rattles or vibrations anymore and the Seat Sound system now sounds great. Also lined the centre dash speaker cubby with Absorber foam.

I think it must have made some difference in road noise too as Im really conscious the rear of the car is noisy now. Ordering more Absorber to finish the rear.

Also fitted Cupra pedals covers.

How do you permanently turn that off? The Start/Stop system.

Using VCDS - there are two main ways :

Set the low voltage threshold to one that will never be achieved ( I used 12v )

Set the temp threshold to one that will not be achieved

both will have the stop/start not activating due to operating parameters never being met

I changed The voltage (12.1) as The temperature complained og out of range.

Yes, I used the voltage threshold too. I'm not sure if the temp will work on our Mk 3's.

ooh let me know how you get on. £720 is crazy expensive, even the DTUK box is only £400inc when essentially they do the same thing. what made you go for the TMC instead?
