Got one. screw in the side of orig foot rest undo pull up hard and it will come off fit alloy trim job done.

1 Undo the screw in the side of the orig plastic foot rest I think you call it a trox head screw
2 Pull the foot rest up and towards you and it will come off
3 place new alloy foot rest over the orig plastic one mark holes drill and then screw new alloy on then do reverse all done.
I used screws that came with it looks OK to me
