what did you and your mk3 leon do today

Ahh I see. I'm getting a few bits wrapped on mine in the next couple of weeks

The only thing I've done it change my interior lights, glove box and boot to LED's, red in the footwell, wrapped the roof and front lower bumper.

The dealer did the alloys in black, the bodykit with black side skirts, spoiler and carbon wing mirrors, twin exit exhaust and they also painted my calipers red.

I fancy changing the pedals at some point and maybe the silencer's at the back.

Looks pretty good actually for a non oem dead pedal.
I already have the alu pedals that you will be fitting and they are very good and look nice too.

I just spent the last 2 days giving the car a proper clean up as the weather was nice and I had a bit of free time on my hands.

Might also be the fact that I bought myself a Nilfisk 125.3-8 pressure washer a few weeks back and have been itching to use it.
Did not have a hosepipe already so bought a nice long hoselock reel and a few extra conectors, then decided I needed a snow foam lance in my life so bought one from Cleanyourcar.co.uk along with some Bilt hamber auto foam.

Really pleased with the Nilfisk and all the bits that came with it. The only gripe I have is with the gun hose which likes to keep curling up but ordered another 10 metre hose from Qwashers which turned up today and looks much better quality and is more flexible :)

So snow foamed, washed, Iron x on the paint and wheels, clayed, white diamond polish, and finished with Zaino Z-CS, Then a wipe over with Zaino Z-6.
Will probably give it a coat of wax after the weekend once the rain moves on.

Car is looking as fresh, if not better than the day I picked it up now :)

Also took the mud guards off as I fancied a change and prefer the car without them.

Sorry no pictures as it was getting dark and I was knackered

Just waiting on the foot pedals then a clean :)

A nice piece of kit!
It's a shame that the allen bolts & cup washers stand so proud of the footrest though. I wonder whether it's worth contacting the supplier & see if he's prepared to manufacture some without holes so they can be bonded on? They look as though they have been laser cut so very cheap to produce.

Thanks, sounds like you've had a busy day, no rest for the wicked aye!

They appear to be stainless steel with a 2B finish (brushed to you & me) & won't scratch very easily. They will be too thin to enable countersinking. Maybe 1 or 1.2mm thick?

Before I drilled through

The back is rubber and has an adhesive strip to stick on the orignal foot rest, was considering using some gorilla glue but wanted the added security of the plate being screwed in from both sides so it wouldn't come off, shame its not flush, would of looked nicer IMO but you can't have everything :(
