I talked to a SEAT dealer earlier this week about ordering a Leon and what happend to the bucket seat option that was available for some weeks, but then disappeared.
He said that ALL Leon Cupra's being build from today would have the bucket seats from factory.
I have tried searching the forum and also googling this, but i have not been able to verify it.
I have just been able to find a couplke of pictures of the bucket seats, so theres not much about the seats or the fact that it is supposed to be standard equipment for the Cupra.

So is there someone here that just received their car?
Did it have the regular sport seats or the bucket ones?
Does anyone know if the information i got, about bucket seats being standard from now on, is correct?

As simonali says, they are still on the configurator, the default screen is on the last page for the seats, scroll left and the buckets appear. I'd find it odd buckets were standard, as anyone opting for leather would in essence get a cheaper car, that's unless they scrap the standard seats and offer full leather buckets as an option...

Configurator always seems to be the last part updated, best off checking the brochure or calling customer service...

Annoying when a dealer tells you wrong advice.

Yepp..

The interesting part is also that he told me this when i asked about the bucket seats and why it had dissapeared from the SEAT configurator.
I called him because i was interested in their demo Cupra that they wanted to sell.
THen he told me that if i wanted the bucket seats he would recommend me to order a new one since it is now standard eq

Obviously after a sale. If you do ask for it in writhing your going to get the seats, but I'm certain it won't happen.

Yeah i guess.
Im going to hold of the Cupra right now and look at it again in the begining of next year.
The Cupra cost quite alot of money if you order it here in Sweden, about 25400GBP
If you get a ex-demo one with the same equipment but only like 3000-4000miles on it it would cost 21800GBP

Yeah just because things are not standard in the UK doesn't mean they are not elsewhere so the dealer may be correct.

www.seat.se has all seat options available (standard / leather & buckets). Is this the right site address for Sweden?

Yepp thats the correct adress!

I just checked again and it seems as if the 265hp Cupra does not have them listed.
They also changed the name of them for the 280.
Previously the name was just "Bucket seats" basicly and it was a different extra from the interior choice.
For some reason they now have moved it to the interior choice and it is now named something like "sport seats with extra support".

But it is still strange that the salesperson stated that it is now included in every car when it is in fact back on the configurator..
