Trip to the dealers today to look into a pulsating booming noise I'm getting at speed. Initially thought it might be the factory tyres but 4 new Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance haven't sorted it. Had a spin in a 150 ST while I was there to compare the noise. You'd really miss the extra poke of the 184.

Does this sound like a flat when your going over 60mph? I find I get that when it's raining at speed but I only tend to hear it when I haven't got any music on.. Obviously the tyre isn't flat but it's like an up and down sound?

Sounds like a wheel bearing to be honest. It's between 100-125kph, so from 60 to about 80mph.

6 hours motorway the other day meant I came out of it angry. Even music doesn't get rid of this fully.

Sounds like an absolute nightmare mate, it's always the little things that piss you off the most I swear! When you getting it checked out?

Hi all,

I have a 184D 2013 Leon FR. I received an error this morning saying Fuel System Error! Workshop (or something like that) this morning. car showed no fuel and the red fuel light was on. I pulled over and turned the engine off & back on and the error is gone.

Called Seat Hull who said they have never heard of that error & when they had a look @ he car they can find no faults.

Just wondering if it is the start of something or whether to just forget about it.

Any ideas ????

When I drove the car yesterday everything on the MFD was slightly out of place, noticed the trip and mileage too high, time and gear selection too low, when opening the doors they were shown in front of the car on the display - weird.

Fine today.

Well I've had two rubbish days. Trevor turned up yesterday and was a real ball ache to fit last night in the dark. I really struggled to get the common rail plug and boost sensor plug off, both of which will probably need replacing after I yanked them off with pliers. But eventually got Trevor fitted

Can see how mashed one of the plugs are.

Also snapped a mount.

And then this morning, this happened:

That's annoying :(
Is that a scuff from another car then?
Should be able to glue the plastic mount back together though.

Not sure how easy it is to replace the plugs on the loom if they have been damaged, although looks like it's only the plastic casing that looks a bit battered.

Hope the new box is at least putting a smile on your face :)

Just finished sealing my wheels that I plan on putting on as soon as my 60mm badges turn up from Spain.

I plan on using these caps instead with the SEAT badges inserted to keep it looking oem

Seems that Photobucket likes rotating my images at random as well! :censored:
