Only mods so far are a few bits wrapped black (roof grille etc) the lights all round have been fly eyed and it has a dtuk trevor box on it which makes a massive difference there is more planned just getting the money and time my big thing though is I want it hooking up to the computer to activate a few things

Thanks mate, it will look a little different when its finished, i'm just getting started on it. Mines running around 225bhp and it does go!

Like the mods you have done so far, they make the world of difference, liking the sticker on your windscreen, nice touch ;)

I will have vagcom in the very near future so could help you out activating a few things

Personally i would always insist on at least an oil and filter change on any car i buy as part of the deal, unless it's just had one and stamped in the book to say accordingly. I would contact Pentagon first and ask them to chase it up, if not pop in or ring a Seat dealer and see if they have any service history on the system for your car. If it's got no main dealer history then you could have problems if you make a claim under the manufacturers warranty. If you get no joy with the dealer, contact Seat uk

As for it being done under warranty, i don't think so. It was down to the previous owner / owners to make sure it was done to keep the manufacturers warranty valid.

Was it advertised with full service history?

You are in a good position anyway, you have your 28 day consumer rights still in place. If Pentagon try and fob you off, you can bring your consumer rights into play if needed.

It's got one Seat stamp in it 24,100 miles but the oil change box says no.

I thought it was up to the owner like.

It should have had one before that really, the service interval is every 10,000 miles / 12 months. So should have two stamps. Contact the dealer who stamped it and ask what was done, if its had an oil change then tick the box yourself. Ask the dealer if they have a record for a first service on the system. If they have you could ask for a confirmation in writing to go in the service history which would be as good as the missing stamp in the book

I would mate. It will be a shame if it missed it's first service though, i'd say it's one of the most important ones. Let me know how you get on?
