My Cupra 280 Build Thread **Update 2/9/14: Milltek Fitted With Videos**

Owned the car for a month now, my first Seat and coming from a Mazda 3 MPS (2.3T) it's took a little getting used to.

Here's some specs so far:

Cupra 280 DSG
Nevada White
Adaptive Cruise & Front Assist
Driver Assist Pack
Winter Pack
Leather Pack
Seat Sound

And here she is...

2 weeks later private plate goes on..

Then wrapped the roof carbon ��

This also arrived after around a month of waiting...
Milltek Downpipe, sports cat and catback exhaust with black tips.

Current Mods Fitted:
- Milltek Downpipe with 200cell Sports cat
- Milltek Catback Exhaust (Non Res) Black cerokote tips.
- Volkswagen Racing Panel filter
- Roof wrapped in Carbon vinyl

Currently have these items on order:
- APR Carbon Carbonio Intake
- APR Sideburn Decals
- APR Boost Tap
- VWR Lower Engine Mount

Things waiting to be done:
- Front splitter wrapped and rear diffuser wrapped in either gloss black or carbon.
- Volkswagen Racing Springs.
- Forge Recirculating Diverter valve
- Genuine VAG coilpack harness cover in Red colour.

- APR Remap
- Sideskirts
- Tripple R Front Splitter

26/8/2014 - Milltek Fitted & some new parts ordered

Finished product - have since taken car back to have them repositioned as they had done some moving and shaking after I had left and looked well dodgy..

Milltek is fitted and making some beautiful noises - it isn't too loud which is great and cold morning starts aren't hellish. I'll post up videos tomorrow when I make some.
Only disappointing thing is that the tips aren't milltek laser engraved branded as are all other milltek systems, looks great on the cerakote black velvet finish too. I have to take them off mid November and post them down to milltek to have them engraved free of charge when their new machine arrives.

*Update 28/8/2014*
Fitted Volkswagen Racing Panel filter to the car until the APR filter arrives.

Between the downpipe, exhaust and filter being changed there is a huge increase in performance!

This also happened a few days ago and I hope the lowlife ******* who done it goes to the big fire - Milltek have been good and have replaced the tip for much cheapness since it was less than a week old

Exhaust is all scuffed, bumper scraped and exhaust has been knocked well out of alignment and everything *****!

Waiting on these getting fitted at the weekend ☺

Yeh, but crooks target sites like this as there are loads of the cars they want, and can read about, and pick from many, they don't hang about any old road just waiting for something to drive by. But it's your choice, better to be safe as you can than sorry.

Downpipe & 200cell Sports cat - £797+VAT (£956.40 Inc VAT)
Catback exhaust, Non resonated with black tips - £850+VAT (£1020.00 Inc VAT) Chrome tips are around £50 cheaper.

You need to get the downpipe with this system can't have one or the other unfortunately.

These are the RRP's from Milltek directly and may be different per dealer/tuner. And don't include fitting but I managed to wrangle free fitting from my guy and probably saved me around 3 hours labour charge at £50.00 an hour.

I got mine from Stan at Ecotune Scotland and that's who I have most of my stuff on order with.

They have been since the photos, just as mentioned I had to go back the day after because it had moved and I wasn't happy with the tips. Sorted now will get another pic up shortly.
