The Leon has been resurrected and fate has been decided on this and at least its staying in the family.
I just got it out the garage after 6 months to be welcomed by seats, seat belts and carpet full of mold. Started by trowing away all the car mats and using some Autoglym carpert shampoo with a Meguires carpet brush to remove the mold and damp smell out the car. Also did all the seatbelts. Used some Zymol leather cleaner and Autoglym leather care balm and cleaned all the leather. Used some Autoglym Plastic and vinyl cleaner on the door cards and dash. Sprayed all the carpets with some febreeze and hanged a new magic tree off the interior mirror. At last the inside is smelling and looking fresh.
Will now give it a jet wash before it goes down the garage later today for new gearbox, driveshaft and glowplug harness.
The new stage 2 Sachs clutch is staying in and it will get a stage 1 map, should see it good for 190 BHP. Things on the list to do before the family member takes it away.
