Bit more progress ...

I also removed my wiper panel trim and dyed it black as I was fed up with putting trim dressing on it all the time, looks so much better now.

Got a strut brace to finish the engine bay off, hopefully be fitted soon along with some other shines bits.

Boot build is nearly finished just got to wire a relay in for the cooling fans then recut the sub box so I can put the rear seats back in

Getting there slowly ...

Fitted front strut brace earlier, one of the easiest mods I've done so far. Wound the front coilovers down about 12mm, might be able to go a bit more but engine is getting a bit close to kissing the road now ... Can't believe how much lower it will go on the 19's then the 18's

Cheers, big push to get them on for end of the month so I can try and overcome any problems.

Just immense Adam! So, we're even now then... Inadequacy felt on both sides of the isle ;-) Wheels are just incredible and with those 380mm discs and calipers, it'll look just incredible. Definitely in the next league. I'm flagging behind now... Not sure Janey (my wife) will allow me to buy my 19 inch wheels of choice until Nov/Dec...

Final push buddy :)

Cheers bud, well December is Christmas after all ... Get your letter into to Janey Santa :cartman:

My bits to finish my engine bay off are here, they came machine finished and not polished so I'll have to try and sort them out to match the others.

Is anyone running engine raisers? I've seen them for sale I'm just not convinced I can raise everything up 15mm without any problems? I seem to remember the 3" downpipe was close to the floor as it is, then everything else like wiring and connections will have more stress on them?

The Mk4 guys seem to use them often without reported issues???

Engine bay parts sanded down and polished.

Still need to paint the throttle body and paint the battery cover black as I don't like it grey, apart from that the engine bay is done.

Cheers guys [B)]

It's as low as it will go now front and rear, rear wheels spaced out 15mm fronts 12mm

Rear calipers cleaned up and painted, new coolant sensor fitted as my aux water pump was running more then normal.

Front brakes are on :D they took 5hrs and 2ltrs of fluid to bleed, were finally done by computer on the ABS system as the pedal was really bad without ... All sorted now.

Does anyone know why you can't uprate the master cylinder? I'm sure I always read there is no better replacement? Surely there must be as it's tiny?

Pics to follow.

My exhaust hit on the rear beam after lowering it yesterday so today I moved it up 5mm. It no longer hits and looks smarter to .. Win win! :D

Couple of phone pics of the progress, very happy how it's coming along.

Cheers mate, so glad there on considering how trouble they have caused!

Boot install is now finished, false floor, all trimmed in alcantara material. I think it came out well.
