Went to the dealers for its first long interval service 17300 miles £172. Also new fuel line fitted on a Seat product recall (foc) They also cleaned inside and out. Saves a job in the morning!
I'd never let a Seat (or any other) dealer wash my car. Had no choice when taking delivery as I wanted to properly check the paint before driving it off the forecourt. However, when it goes in for a service or any other work I always insist they don't wash the car. The only person who touches the paint on our cars is me. I've yet to use a car dealer who takes proper care when preparing cars, they just want to turn them around as quickly and cheaply as possible.Went to the dealers for its first long interval service 17300 miles £172. Possibly CPC/driver training or being it september, some councils now have them on hire for the winternot too early. I followed a gritter out of hitchin earlier today, with the orange lights flashing and the spreading sign alight.
at 25 mph. in 25C temp.
I would guess they were simply moving it from A to B, but with this @Elf n'safety attitude of local councils, who knows?
