Would agree with that too based on my experience but fingers crossed for you. I ordered through a lease company which I'm figuring probably didn't help - i.e. lower priority. In order to avoid wait until end of October (& I ordered in April!) I've switched from Monsoon Grey to a stock Ice Silver car with similar spec - it arrives on Monday and I cant wait! big thanks to Marshalls of Leicester for helping make it happen.
Would love to see what the silver looks like. Haven't seen any yet so make sure you post some pics up when you get it.

Still a newbie too, so I can't post any pictures, but on youtube, you can search for "walkaround Leon 280 Geneva" and you'll find a silver Cupra...

I've watched that video a couple of times, is that definitely the silver as it looks really nice. I thought it might be the Dynamic Grey but every picture of that seems to look white?

Now i'm in a right dilemma! I've had a Nevada white on order for 2 weeks but I can change colours if I want to.

The silver looks amazing in the videos under artificial lighting but i'm wondering whether it will look as plain as most silver cars do outside - we really need some real world pics.

The other option is going for red which will bring the price down as well.

Dynamic Grey is a serious option instead of white i guess. I've chosen it because it is something special, not the plain, but good looking silver and not the sharp looking, but much seen white.

I didn't like it! :D

Not seen one in the flesh so can't comment. I think I'm maybe a bit weird in my views in that I've always preferred solid paint finishes to metallic. Last Cupra solid white, this one solid red. Also has to said that I object (on the grounds of being tight) to paying any extra for paint so it is a good job I don't like metallic finishes!

I think we need a thread just for Cupra owner pics so we can see colours in the real world? I've searched the forum and I don't think one already exists?

I started this thread, could also include pics if anyone wants to stick them in. Wanted admin to sticky it but not sure how to do it myself?!

Yeah that thread could work, we just need people to post their pics :)

The best link i've found is this one which shows Nevada White and Monsoon Grey with the odd Red pic - https://www.flickr.com/photos/117264142@N04/

sorry its not the best picture guys!!!

but the car in the back ground is dynamic gray with the white pack on...more noticeable when you look at the wheels compared to the body.

Main car in picture is nevada white with black pack...

on another note...had a nice email from my dealer today...

Hopefully pick it up tomorrow nigh or sat morning, my wait is nearly over yipeee!!

Today I ordered a SC Cupra 280 DSG.

There were two SC's in the country...1 Nevada White with Spare Wheel and the other with leather seats, sunroof and seat sound. Westgate Seat in Grimsby were the only guys who looked at what was available more quickly.

I had Brett and Seat Stoke as a target and managed to get with £500 of this, pretty much decided I'd rather do a deal straight away rather than saving the last bit of money. (And it comes a long way from my local dealer who sent me away with List Price).

A touch excited.
