Hi, Ive Owned A Seat Cordoba Sx (3 Door Model) Before And Loved It To Pieces And After A Friend Had An Accident While Borrowing It (Wasn't His Fault To Be Honest).

Since Been Looking For Another Mk1 Cordoba SX Coupe For A Project Of Mine In The UK

Have A Budget For £1000 For The Right Car & Happy To Travel

MOT & Taxed
Ideally - Untouched NOT=Modified/Chaved Or Ragged
Lower The Millage The Better
Fairly Sound Body Work (I Accept Cars Of This Age Are Not 100% Untouched)
Color Not An Issue As The Project Would Mean The Car Is Wrapped Or Repainted
Newer The Better But Ideally Nothing Older Than 1998 (Less Its Mint)

But Wondering If Anyone Knows Of Anyone Or Knows Of One For Sale
Drinking Money Is Included For The Right Info

Your looking for a needle in a haystack there. Your chances of finding one that's mint for a grand and the owner wanting to let it go for a grand if it were mint would add to the odds of you not finding one. I only say this because I would be reluctant to let my 1999 tdi cordoba estate go right now and she's tidy but not mint and I would like a grand for her or I'll just keep her.

There is a three door early cordoba that sits near my house that never moves from the driveway. I don't know if it's for sale or not or what money they would be looking for it. I would hazard a guess that the length of time it has been sitting that most of it would be right and stiff by now. The body work looks tidy enough.

Well As Time Has Gone On Im Happy To Stretch To £1500
For The Right Car, But Agree These Are Certainly Becoming Rare.

But As Previous Comment State These Sell For Around £600+1000

I Remember Seeing A P Plate Ibiza Just Sitting Around The Corner From My Self
(Looked Fairly Mint Under The Green)
Mess That Nature Covered It In, But Beleaved They Sold It In The End

Shame I Didnt Live Closer Would Been Straight At There Door Of The Owners Of The Cordoba lol

I could knock their door if you want me to the next time I'm passing. See if there interested and what state it's really in close up or what work it may need. The one thing that is obvious is the 17 inch white twin six spoke alloys and the rather large rear adjustable spoiler/aerofoil. It's also green and the spoiler doesn't look ridiculous, actually looks quite good/almost stock.

Ok, Lil Update Just Searched Ebay And Came Across

But It Has Seen Better Days

Seller Is Honest And States It Got Rust On The Rear Arches
(But Going By The Images Its Not Just Surface Rust)


& Also Has A Misfiring Issue

Could Be As Seller States A Duff Spark Plug Or A Sparky Lead Shorting
But Feel It Is Likely To Be Distributor (Pure Guess With-out Seeing It),

Or Could Purely Be Injector Problem, Who Knows ... ?

So Will Contact The Seller & Go From There

Scary mate. The owners a bit of a bunny boiler. She's looking 2 grand for a £700 car. Says it's been resprayed last year even though it has a wee touch of rust on the side indicator hole. It has mould on the interior and a none standard steering wheel and need four tyres.

Lowest she will take is £1700. I wouldn't bother. All the best with your search.

Has A Just Over 100k (Ok Is A Lil High)

I Will Be The 5th Owner From New & Is Actually Very Mint Being Honest For A 14yr Old Car

Been Looked After Arches Are Sound Solid Project Car To Work Up From

Not Chaved Or Ragged

Paid £800 For It

Needs Minor TLC

Hole In Floor Turned Out To Be Where A Rubber Bung Had Recently Gone £3 Fix
Replacement Window Wipers - Included With Car
Pedal Box On Its Way Out - But New Replacement Included
Needs New Headlight On Drivers (But Looking To Install Angel Eyes No Worrys)

Will Keep You Posted Once Ive Sorted The Storage out & Get Some Pics Together
