cheers pal they turned out ok in the end:)

Looks like you've do a good job of your brakes mate. How did you do them? Sand down? How many coats? And did you lacquer them afterwards? Where did you get the hammerrite smooth from?
Sorry for all the questions I'm quite tempted to do my S3 rears.

well fitting the revo didnt take long at all,was a bit of a pain putting the bracket on with a screw to the front air duct as it never had a screw in it the first place, hunted for 1 for ages lol
initial thoughts, its quiet compared to the itg tbh and the car drives pretty much the same but i didnt have chance to get it up to the redline as theres alot of traffic about, the car already had a quick spool up anyhow but hoping after some abuse it keeps the temps down
hmmm was it a worthy upgrade?time will tell ;)
also kept the LARGE bore cold air pipe in
a few pics before

cold air feed for the itg

getting there

perfectly fitted to use the cold air feed

comparison

took about 1.5 hours altogether so saved a bit on labour costs hehe
now after that am i being a bit OTT and want getting this ceramic pipe wrapped in DEI gold tape?
cheers
