DO NOT PAY TO HAVE YOUR COILPACKS CHANGED ! it is so easy just get a flathead screwdriver pop the connector off and pull them out , you can get a set of oem coilpacks for around 70-80£
Did/have you scanned the car for codes? You should get a code for the appropriate cylinder when you get a coilpack failing, seems weird to have all 4 go so close together, but it's possible.So on way to work today, same issue, jerky on cold start first / second gear, idle seemed OK. Felt hesitation on boost around 4k, pulled back and cruised fine part throttle etc. Next acceleration around 4k more than part throttle and same, EML flashed and thereafter im convinced idle is slightly more less stable (if that makes sense) but car OK when 'normal' driving. Whilst i have just had 3 coils replaced, the final coil was judged to be 'not old' by garage and left as was (Bosch type though). Fingers crossed it is final coil now only... Should have insisted it was done last week i know...
Cat was running really smooth up until this morning (colder than recent) but to be fair i have not put more than part throttle as fearful of the above happening!!!
If not the last coil? MAF, sensor of some kind?

cheers mate, car going in on Thursday for drag and fingers crossed simple fix... Had all 4 plugs replaced with last 2 failed coils... weirdly seemed a bit better today on boost (still took it easy really) but defo think idle and slow speed on cold start is more 'stutter'... taken shine off the motor for sure!Did/have you scanned the car for codes? First thing I would do is check and replace the spark plugs if not already done. Could be a plug causing a misfire rather than a coil.
