Yes agree not the nicest looking mats but again with kids and muddy feet a preference to carpet mats. Most manufactures have rubbers mats as an accessory but no not SEAT well not for RHD cars. Cannot see the guards with the doors closed.

Yeah, been there, done that. Our ancient family wagon came with carpet mats and fitted rubber mats from the factory. Carpet ones still look like new 12 years on. The kids were young when we bought that car and are now old enough to be more responsible. However, when they were young the rubber mats were a godsend. I have to say the fitted rubber mats looked a lot better than yours though :) No doubt they do a job, but I've seen nicer!

Done an internet search and the choice is limited for fitted mats. Hopefully SEAT will see sense and bring out some smart ones like the LHD ones.

Thanks. Seen these on the ecomotive which has what looks like the same rear spoiler as the Cupra's so might do some investigating.

Noticed if you look closely at the Nurburgring car that it was fitted to that, so if it was good for that then it's good for mine me thinks.

you will be surprised what a little bit of plastic can do to when designed to reduce air flow or improve down force. what do you think those little strips of plastic on the front and rear wheel aches do?

No idea. Look stupid and annoy me? Or perhaps extend the wheel arches so the large wheels don't fall foul of type approval rules? It's a mystery.

Not so much my MK3 Leon, My Cupra 280 arrived in the port last night, I have got a MK3 Leon FR TDI CR150 on loan.

Unfortunately it is abit of a poverty spec car, no tech pack etc.

I'm loving the DSG though, really looking forward to the DSG in my Cupra

To make the car comply with construction & use rules... Viewed from above your car can't show any tyre - the bits of plastic obscure it just enough to comply

Really enjoying having the FR TDI on loan.

The car itself was a cancelled fleet order so isn't very speced up, its not got tech pack so no led lights or satnav etc.

But it handles very well (even compared to my old MK2 LCR with handling mods), its smooth and quite good (even though its alot slower than my LCR).

Whole reason I ordered DSG was with the amount of work im doing at the moment I was getting increasingly annoyed with driving the LCR after a 12 hour night shift. On the way to work now I now used paddles and on the way home, full automatic.

Looking forward to the Cupra 280 arriving though.

Constant back pain problems led me to take mine in to Pickering's in Bradford and have an additional pneumatic lumbar support fitted.

I found that the lumbar adjustment as not high enough up my back no did it come out far enough to be of any support.

Pickering's marked up the seat where I needed the extra help then fitted me with a pneumatic support that is just a bit higher than the factory one and I can inflate and deflate as required with a pressure bulb which hides under the seat. I can now use either or both as required. My previous DS4 had height adjustable pneumatic supports fitted as standard. It seems to be helping. If anyone else has this problem, they do a top job for around £100

Also I manages to stop all of my window door creeks and squeaks by just cleaning of the door shuts and seals with some dish wash detergent on a cloth.

Got back last night from a holiday and 50th birthday party in Cornwall, went down early hours Friday had a great drive down. The Leon is so much better than the Vauxhall Meriva I changed from.

Altogether did 858 mile on about £70, was getting 67mpg on motorway at 70mph and around 50/60mpg while driving around.

Deffo need to wash the car now tho looks like flies love the Lima Green colour
