Well guys,
after a 400 mile trip to visit Alex at Aks tuning to have all the suspension changed im a really happy bunny
Firstly had the short shifter fitted with 42dd bushes, gearbox bushes and aks cable ends modded, this makes it feel soooo much better and makes you think your going faster with it being so quick lol
then for the suspension changes,H&R monotubes fitted with TT top mounts and superpro front bushes and superpro adjustable ball joints, while that was getting fitted the h&r front arb was also fitted,
1 mistake that alex found that the m8 i got to fit the cts turbo discharge pipe had actually fitted the top hose the wrong way round and snapped 1 of the bolts that connects it to the sump because he never swapped over the rubber grommits from the old 1 to the new pipe,it was rattling its t*ts off,all sorted now lol,
over to the back end for the rears to be changed and the rear arb to go,all went with no problems, wheels back on then tested the height etc then finished with the installation of the ultrabrace
lastly he took it to get the fast road alignment done which he said was a bit of a pain as adjusting the back was sending the front out slightly and then doing the same on the front to back but he got there in the end.
the car feels sooo good now, another 5mm drop roughly over the sportlines and got only a couple of rubs on the tyre with the back end loaded up,its so planted on the road, also with very sharper turning and flat cornering giving you the urge to go a littlle bit quicker than normal on the twisties hehe
well worth the trip and peed of an angry agressive jaguar xf owner that was tailgating me on the m6 by leaving him on a roundabout and on the straights hehe
a few pics i took on my phone while alex was working on it

Also the positive feedback on the cars performance and handling of the car from alex made my day

Gave it a quick wash today and sorted the wheels n tyres out as theyve not been touched for months and doing 400 miles last week
also 6 days later the car seems to have settled on the new coilovers

Looking good.
How you fitting the fast road alignment? I'm picking up adjustable ball joints and ALK a week on Friday so once they are fit I'll be after a fast road alignment.
Are the H&R monotubes fully adjustable or just height adjustable?

the car feels so 'planted' now m8,faster turn in and very controlable at speed,i actually drive it quicker or dont slow down now just glide around lol
the monotubes are just height adjustable m8 but are really comfy;)

That's good to know, I'll have a similar set up to you minus the coilovers and under body brace.
Imagine what it would be like with some trackday tyres. :)
I'm going to start looking into coilovers because I think they could be 1 of my next mods. Are the H&R monotube better than the twintubes do you know?

tyres would be nice kev but im after some wheels like yours first:p
was gonna try twwin tubes at first but i needed more comfort due to health wise that the montubes are alot better all round,i forgot all the other benefits lol
