Not removed mine yet, but I think it just pulls off.
Think it has two locators top and bottom IIRC

I bloody hope so, otherwise I have broken mine.....

(Yeah, sixysix is correct. 4 plastic locating pegs on the engine that pop into holes in the engine cover - or vice versa LOL)

It just pulls off, has 2 plastic 'pins' that hold it in. Only found out when I opened the bonnet and it had worked loose!
