Looking forward to hearing that you're out and on the mend mate. Sod's law that we've had some reasonable weather recently. Are the brake discs going to fit? Hope so... :)

Cheers mate, feel a lot better today :)

I'm hoping to pick my centre lock nuts up from anodising tomorrow together with James brake bells so when the wheels are reprinted they can stay on.

One of my brake bells and brackets are ready to be trial fitted, hopefully things will go smoothly as I've just about had enough of the bloody things :censored::cartman:

My seats should hopefully be here by the weekend as should the subframes, the sliders and harnesses won't be here until the end of next week tho. I now have just the drivers seat until the fronts arrive. I've removed the rears, think I'm going to flat panel the floor and re trim it.

Let's not talk about the stuff I took for anodising [:@]

These are my new seats, runners and subframes. I think they suit the car a treat

I have matching sparco harnesses in red coming next week.

Well my bad luck continues.

As a couple of you know me and James had a slight technical glitch when I took our stuff for anodising

I took my 4 centre lock wheel nuts and James brake bells in to be re coated black, bearing in mind these centre nuts are one of the only sets in existence ... This is what I was greeted with when I went to pick them up..

This is what was left of James bells.

Yep, nothing left of them! Everything melted :wtf:

I then had to send James a rather apologetic message which thankfully he was great about :coolthumb

This was about 10-12 weeks ago, in the meantime we had to source a brand new pair of bells from badger 5 and find somewhere able to design and CNC me a new set of nuts, after a month they found a Motorsport engineer able to make them.

6 weeks later and over £700 we have 2 new bells and 4 new nuts

Hopefully I'll be well enough soon to get the wheels repainted and sort the brakes out.

I've also managed to install a bit of a stereo and a couple of bits of engine bay bling :funk:

Hoping to have the car finished by the end of the month.

At least they're done mate and you can move forward. Was the finish of you anodising a bit purpley in direct sun light? Mine are... Role on the end of July the buddy :)
