Did you check them out, hope you're happy with them :)

What do you think of the interior LED pack now that you have your car Andy, worth the cost? Although it costs more than buying aftermarket LED bulbs for rest of the car I personally think its worth the money I paid, to get oem fit- Just shame that it didn't include the glovebox and boot lights!!

Haven't been in it in the dark period so in answer to the question Aj #1 no #2 dunno :D

Meant to go out that evening to look but it was pi$$IN down, the dog wouldn't even cross the threshold.

It was certainly a nice white clean light which makes it even harder to tell the effect in daylight, I'm sure the glove box will be okay, I am curious on the boot tho with only the three LED. I've seen 'look a like' complete LED units for VW\AUDI\BMW and they appear to have 18 LED in them.....tbc

Sorry, you may have misunderstood my second question ;) I meant what do you think about paying £60 for the LED interior Pack as A SEAT option, do you think its worth it now you have your car and seen what you get :)

Had a nosey tonight Aj, not so sure on boot light, I've ordered up another will revisit the thread when It arrives .

Ahh OK, do you think it could do with being a bit brighter in the boot? I will be eagerly awaiting your update when you receive your new bulb to see if they are better, if so I might change to them too if they are good lol

The only worry I had for the Boot LED is that if they are a lot brighter they may get too hot and burn the solder and the LED might fall apart like reported in the other LED light thread?

I do, never really questioned the £60 at the time. Glad it was done for me, interior lighting seems balanced and not too glary ie: no sun factor cream required :D

The trial and error on the bulbs is fair mounting up on the £ front, for me anyway, so glad the interior was already done.

Exactly Aj, thought it could've done with being brighter myself, its all subjective I suppose, but for me personally I expected a brighter boot.

I had the melted LED from the other thread in mind and instead of buying a bulb I bought a complete boot light unit from that Ali site with the LED already mated to it, hopefully the light unit will fit, looks a pretty standard unit tbh.

It'll either, not fit, melt or fit fine and brighten up the boot .......tbc

AJ - but the 3 light LED you put in is much brighter than the original SEAT boot lighting, isn't it?

Also, can you confirm that they have not burned out or raised any error messages?

I have ordered one from the website you posted but may not fit it yet and wait to see Andy's experience with his alternative.

and while I'm here asking silly questions - how do you get into the boot light? - does it just pull out?
and I assume it is "on" because the boot is open - was it hot?!

More or less Bernard, lifts out at one end, then unplug the wiring connector and the unit is all yours. Cant recall if the bulb was hot or not, dont think it was, regardless, the bulb got pinged out with a small screwdriver landed in the boot :D

I've no idea on the LED bulb brightness against the factory fit bulb, only saw it on for 10>15 seconds, memory of a fish

Hi Cortina, yes I would say that the LED is brighter than the original bulb. I have used it for over a month now and all is good, it hasn't burnt out and I don't get any errors :)

I've now got my car and the LED light for the boot, ready to fit, but can't get the lens unit out of the car. Trying not to break the unit so any guidance as to which end to attack - nearest the back of the boot or nearest the boot opening? Is it a lug that needs pressing in or should it just come away? Screwdriver as a lever or something else?

At the moment I can get some limited forward movement from the top edge without it coming away, but will give the end more leverage if you recommend.

I got the LED interior lighting in mine, was a nice little bonus as the dealer didn't realise it had it until I pointed it out when the car was delivered From seat group stock. Saw it in proper darkness this morning and am impressed nice white light without burning your eye balls, as for the boot and glove box not really bothered tbh they can stay as they are for £60 and no hastle at all I think its worth the little extra, it is a 20k plus car so hardly a major cost, and of course compliments the LED exterior lighting :)

Small screwdriver to prise out Bernard, comes away from the back edge outwards, back edge being the small end nearest the back seat

Just fitted red footwells and white glovebox and boot.. the leds i got were just small enough to fit.

Footwell lights dim with setting fine.

The glovebox led seems to be always on instead of switched.. the boot as well perhaps?

The boot light goes out once the boot is shut, I did check this when fitting my led bulb. I think the glovebox light is on all the time though until you lock the door and then it turns off, just like the over head light module in the front of the car.

Thanks AJ.. might need to rethink the glovebox led as it creates a halo round the cover.. I think I might change it to a red LED as well.
