My 4th Seat

Well finally bought my 4th Seat a LCR 55 plate in platinum grey. Just done the deal today the car is great and the best colour IMO. (pics will follow once i get it).

This will be my second cupra R and theres a few things Ill be doing but mainly to bring the car back to its original best. needs a couple of scratches seeing too,a coil pacK replacing, wheel refurn and a off side mirror. Might refurb in a none standard colour i think dark wheels look better with the platinum paintwork.

One other things car also has HIS lights can these be removed easy enough and revert back to standard?

Good choise of colour there I bought a grey LCR last year and it was the only colour I wanted. I refurbished my wheels but I chose the standard colour as I don't like dark wheels very much.

Thanks yea it all very common now to have dark wheels but i do like them seen one on here done in ford mustang grey or something which had a blue tint I'm seriously considering that. Also will probably invest in some new tyres all round will do a bit research on here to see what the best rubber is.

Uniroyal Rainsports are brilliant for the price that you pay. I know plenty of people who use them and recommend them highly

I'm not too familiar with tyre sizes on the LCR but I'd guess 225 40 18;s would seem about right?

Have a look through these guys they're very well priced

55 plate platinum grey LCR here as well I've had mine a year and still love it.

Dark wheels on an LCR are great and the only place dark wheels are common on an LCR is on SCN. I've only ever seen one other platinum grey LCR on the road.

Probably going to get flamed here, but for some reason I'm thinking that bronze/gold coloured wheels would look really nice on a Platinum grey LCR.

Each to there own mate it would be a very brave choice but not for me.

I refurbished mine in January anthracite, as much as like it,
Bronze is what I'll choose next and that obviously on a red car.
