They look good mate, I know its lazy but could you list exactly which bulbs you got an how many of each?

Guys, can you explain me how to open this cable and replace these lamps?

Any instructions / photos are welcomed. I tried to open it but i wasnt sure and did not want to break anything :p

Also just for these spot of the car which products do i need to get to replace them with LED bulbs?

Last question. I have replace the bulbs of the rear number plate with LED, but they turn off after a few seconds / minutes. anyone knows how to solve this issue?

I see you ordered 4 for the front interior light bud....would the remaining one left off fit in your glove box light? :)

Or is it slightly different? Looking on your list you copied across, seems similar just one less SMD?

Also, just noticed your second link is to 39mm, aren't they for the vanity and not the rear interior light according to the list?

Just trying to get my head round exactly what I require before ordering.

That would be correct bud :) I used my spare out of the 4 pack for the glove box and works a treat. The glove box fitment is a little trickier though as when you open glove box the light comes on as you know but best way not to 'short' the fuse or bulb is to unclip the lens and pull it out with the wire attached and then close the glovebox which will turn off the bulb. Then what I did was take off the black connector (this makes it easier to unlock the existing bulb) it's a bit fiddley but slight the bulb out and place in the led. Click the cable back in and then open glovebox again to see if led lights up, if it doesn't which mine didn't just try and rotate the led the other way and should work then.

Hope that helps.

The 39mm festoons are for both the rear interior lights and yes, also for the vanity mirrors. Probably depending on the age of your car they should all be the same but I would check first to make sure.
I don't think I be changing the vanity mirrors just yet as they not really used.
Also just for clarity the 36mm festoons will be for the number plate bulbs and the 42mm festoon will be for the boot light.

Thanks for all the tips Toca, i'll do exactly the same as you then and get that extra one fitted in the glove box.

Believe my car is the same/similar to you? I have a 58 plate Cupra K1?

Thanks for clearing that up, should be the same as yours 39mm. Does it say on them? Or did you just measure?

Cheers for the extra few bits regarding the boot light, as i'll be ordering one for there aswell whilst I'm at it :D Already got side lights and number plate LED's bought and fitted from HIDs Direct

No probs bud and nice car ;)

It doesn't say on them but would guess it be 39mm for a perfect fit. Prob best to just double check anyway is it only takes 2 mins. I made a mistake on my last car and just bought some led festoons in blue 36mm but they were 39mm bulbs and had to bend the clip to accommodate the size.

I might go for the number plate lights next but wanted to ask if you get any errors showing up as seem to be a number of threads about errors or them not working etc.

I do get the odd bulb warning on my dash and would expect that to be my side LEDs and drl's but a quick turn off and on of the lights clears this, but no biggy and they still working.

So you going the full hog and doing vanity bulbs aswell with your next order?

Thanks mate! Yours looks lovely too!

Okay mate, i'll maybe do that then, pop them out if it only takes 2 mins and have a quick measure! Ahhh gotcha mate, deffo worth a double check then for a perfect fit! :D

Id really recommend the number plate ones bud, looks awesome imo! I have the pre-face lift mk2 and no errors on mine. I did however order the number plate led's from HID Direct for £10 I believe. And my mate with a facelift mk2 ordered the same last week and think he is having an error light coming on, currently speaking to HID's Direct about this so i'll let you know how he gets on......if you have the pre-facelift like me, you should be fine :)

Ahhh okay, have you had any errors related to these interior LED's since fitting? Really don't wanna get any haha done well so far to avoid them!

Aye, think I'm gonna go the full hog! Haha might aswell and then get em all fitted in one go. So yeah, vanity and boot will be getting ordered at the same time, then using that 1 extra one in the glove box, should be them all then I believe?

Need to compromise a little list together before I forgot so I don't miss any!! Wanna do it for me? :D

Would love to bud but bit far to travel to fit a couple of LEDs, and I charge by the hour!

I'm sure you can manage mate cos if you already done the reg lights the rest will be a doddle, but give me shout if you get stuck :D

My car is the supercopa model so I think that's why I need to get the canbus error free LEDs but will try and get the reg plate LEDs ordered and see how they turn out.

Haha its cool mate! Don't mind doing it myself, I meant compromise the little list for me ;) haha!

Yeah should be okay hopefully, but thanks for that. Certainly will give you a shout if I have any issues!

Ah yeah, well I require the canbus error free ones too, I think the problem occurs somewhere between facelift and pre-facelift with the number plate error light issue, so if your pre-facelift like me, you should be okay I think! Fingers crossed! :) Good Luck!

So did those 39mm one you ordered fit fine in the rear interior? Just as the list says 36mm that's all :)

Sweet thanks mate! Might order two sets of those then, one for rear interior lights and other for vanity?

Looking at around £20 to do the full lot I think....just struggling to find a boot light LED tho? Ideally from the same seller, get em all posted together then! Any help? lol
