Hi everybody

At least in switzerland there are to ABT Tuning Cupras available on the market. One with 330 and one with 350 bhp. Sounds interesting to me.

For sure we can ;) And anyway ABT is an official tuner, everything is homologized so that's not a problem. But what i'm curious about is that one has 330 and the other one 350 bhp. Both optimized by abt. As they reach so easy the 350 bhp without mods on exhaust etc it seems to be the golf R engine.

For me, even 280 sounds borderline excessive with fwd. And you're talking 350....?

I know what you mean. BUT.. On the highway with the 3rd 4th gear the 350bhp will be fun! Even if it's nonsense and stupid.. But i'm just talking about fun :)

stage 2+ is very common for CUPRA 1P which produces more than the 350 quoted above. there are many going for bigger turbos... to each their own :)

And?

I apologise for comparing the cupra to another car:rolleyes:

Or is it just because I have offended you by saying I think the Golf R looks nicer?

Lol, yes you caught me out. Dammit.

Just trying to bring some focus back to the thread for people genuinely interested in the Cupra so they don't need to wade through pages of chatter about other cars. Comparisons are fine but it's got a bit out of hand lately. We have other forums dedicated for these discussions. If peeps can respect that it would be appreciated.

Well I apologise, if someone slagged off my future car I would have reacted too.

Didn't mean to offend, I just wish that the new cupra looked more aggressive

I'm not reacting. You don't need to apologise and you weren't slagging off my future car. Even if you had been it wouldn't have been an issue - really. As I said, just wanting to keep the thread more on topic. :)
