The part numbers that I've found to work are 1JO 959 753... Ending in either CT, AG (2 button) or DA (3 button). Hope you've got one of those? [B)]

Aye the one I ordered is a 1JO 959 753 AG with a new transponder chip in it. S il just swap that out of my spare remoteless key and take out of the new one and it should work. Emphasis on "should"

Sick ride man! Really like it!

I may have missed it reading through, but on your first page says something about a polo rear wiper, what sort of look does that give? Was thinking of de-wipering mine but I like seeing out the back :p

Also anyone hear of a product called plasti-dip?

Wa thinking about debadging the Seat Ibiza part and blackening the boot release "S"

I have used plastidip mate, it is amazing stuff! Like seriously.

However, my first attempt I failed misserbly, and the key word to why was "water". When plastidipping you got to ensure its all clean bla bla so on haha, I thought great, its all clean, so I blasted it with an air line so it was dry and started painting. 2 days later it all started raising up off my plastic bits I painted, basically the water sat in the creases and crevices and leaked out after I painted it, but I really dried it so was like whaaaa??!?! So went onto the plastidip forum and apparently only the slightest of moisture under the dip will cause it do loose adhesion and peel off. They also say that to make sure it doesnt happen clean it and let it dry for a couple of days, with the aid of a hairdryer and so on. But with the weather as it is atm that aint gunna happen.

But if water is taken into consideration it is amazing stuff, gives a really even coat, durable finish, and you can peel off what you dont want...amazing. Plus no surface prep!

Cool man :D

In that case :p here is a pic of my plastidip attempt before it all fell off lol. You can see the finish it gives is absolutely awesome, and with the metallizer on the badge or something I am sure it would look great.

If you are wondering why I over sprayed it is so it peels away cleanly from the edges of the grille, instead of tearing :D

Edit: That empty boxes of tissues was full when I started painting, used them all up after creaming my self from the end product :p hahaha.....oh dear
