I remember hearing this before and still can't believe it. You don't need to get that close to be able to see the shutlines for the back doors even if the door handles aren't visible, and if you are specifically looking to see if it's a five door surely this would catch the eye.

Either these people that were put off weren't really that bothered about getting one in the first place (if you were that bothered you'd have surely gotten close enough to realise it was actually a 5 door) or they were too simple to at least ask the question of if a 5 door model was available.

As you can probably tell I prefer the hidden door handle look :p

People aren't that observant, lots of people used to say to me with my Mk2 is it a 3 door. I guess the black hid the shut lines more than other colours, but generally if its not spoon fed simple to people they go with their mis-informed first judgement however accurate that might be or not.

I didn't really need a 5 door, but bought the Cupra because I liked it and its styling made it less apparent it was a 5 door.

Now I've been given the choice, I've chosen a 3 door. Even if the 5 door had hidden handles this time, I'd of still picked a 3door.

Choice is good. :D

Spanish SEAT forum have just posted this

Spanish SEAT forum poster needs a better camera. :cartman:

Having the 3 door SC, I already knew it would be a looker in the metal. The wheels are very similar in colouring to the titanium pack 18" rims on mine, with the painted grey inlaid and the finish (so far) is excellent and really looks smart against the usual silver alloy.

I really can't see the Cupra rims looking any less impressive in the flesh. Quite like the grey colour too, but I get a bit narked about this custom colour nonsense that means its suddenly £700 :thumbd: Its a metallic colour like any other, should be at the same rate. Its not like its a cromaflair or special finish.

Have to say that the headlights look great on the MK3 Leon. And to be fair, as a direct comparison to the Golf 7, if anything, the Leon dash looks like its set out better - the radio is a bit low in the console on the Golf 7.

Agreed, much better for the eye line. Curious question which would probably be demonstrated on any mk3 but do the buttons next to the gear stick get moved to the other side on rhd models?
