TDI badge to complete 20VT badge

Hi,

Suddenly noticed my 'T' is missing from my 20 VT badge. I've only managed to find the replacement badges with the red 'T' which I'm not sure would look good. Plus they are £20!

Anyway looking at the genuine 'TDI' badges on ebay - the 'T' looks very similar to the one I'm missing. It's fairly slender and thinking that it would go under the 'Leon' badge, it could match?

Anyone able to compare the two for size?

I ripped the T of my badge with my wash mitt by accident I have only found the badge on eBay you mentioned so I guess its dealer only I just took the rest off and left the leon badge !

Yep my fr wing badges faded so I took em off too looks really neat and tidy plus keeps people guessing what overtook them

I bought this for £12 so hopefully it will match.

Has anyone got any ideas for taking off the leftover ripped sticker pad from the old 'T'?

Hairdryer and credit card maybe?

I used sticker remover, but due to the fact I have a ovni yellow car, you can still see the text due to the fading of the paint

Hairdryer and a bit of thread works to peel off the badges. Don't use a knife! Then use some alcohol wipes to clean up the sticker residue.

Think its a bit late now... but for anyone else - ask a dealer for part no. 6K0 853 687 AE 739, it should be the full '20VT' chrome rear badge.

It arrived........and it's the same

In truth, buying a 20VT badge would give you a whole collection of spare letters. If you have just lost a 'T' and want to keep the original look this idea works fine though.
